Purple Goose Eatery & Drinkery

We stopped here on our way to a camp ground and it was great! Awesome, quick service and great food. The perfect local place to get a bite to eat off the highway. Everything on the menu looked great!

Short version: It's great!
Long version: The eatery and drinkery is a cozy community pillar. The walls are donned with team photographs from various years even dating back to the 1980s, pretty much all high school teams for basketball, baseball, football, you name it. Two TVs line the walls, one was playing the Bills and Bengals game (RIP the Bills) and the other was on some built-in menu. There are high-top tables, bankettes, and normal tables, each one with a caddy of ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, roll-ups, and individually wrapped plastic straws. The service is excellent; efficient without being rushed. Pictured is the pizza I ordered: medium pizza with jalapeños and pepperoni. It was very very good and I would recommend that combo to anyone. The restroom was clean, however someone wrote "ew!" in dust on a basin. I appreciate the vintage style in the restroom and in the building in general. The atmosphere of vintage dining establishment in conjunction with sports bar make for a very interesting and pleasant combination. Overall, I can recommend the Purple Goose.

I ordered a to go order. It was hot and ready when I got there. Was delicious! A little pricey but acceptable for the type of establishment. Friendly employees.

Amazing food and very personal staff! They get to know you by name and the food and drinks are amazing. Very glad we have this gem in town here!

Small bar/diner... would say grill but they definitely do more than just a burger.

Quiet, quaint atmosphere, from scratch kitchen.

Service was great. Very good microbeer and cider selection to go with the ole faithful lineup. Kid friendly. I'd recommend pizza and the wonton pickle cream cheese concoction that was next level (get the sweet chili sauce instead of raspberry dip though).

Oh yeah Bloody Mary is made with love it's good, with good snacks.

Menu was great, lots of variety. Great tasting food. Will definitely be going back!!!

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had. I got the small pizza with fresh mushrooms and black olives and it was delicious!

My family loves this place. Walleye sandwich is one of our favorites and the fries are great. They have a decent selection of drinks and trivia is a lot of fun!

On a whim, I came here from out of town and I'm absolutely glad that I did. The food is great. The service is great. It's a cozy little place to grab a good bite to eat.

The online ordering wasn't working right so my order didn't go through. Took 3 times trying before it finally went through l. First time food was said to be ready to pick up at 5:30pm. Didn't get our food until 6:45pm. Food was fine just the online ordering was bad.
