Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Located inside Bedford Candies. Offers some amazing hand-scooped (HS) Ice Cream Flavors! Tiramisu, Cookie Monster, Reese's Peanut Butter Swirl and many more you won't find elsewhere. They also offer frozen custard and italian ice (smooth!). It's better than the Meadows, and about the same price.

Super clean and super friendly staff. Our ice cream treats were out of sight.

I was there a few weeks ago and was very impressed with my experience there. The ice was fresh and full of flavor. As someone who worked in the Rita's business for a long time, I am very happy with their services. Definitely recommend this store!

I went for the first time last night and had a regular mango one. It was delicious! I love how you can taste the flavor the entire time you are eating the Italian ice!
I had the Mango Strawberry as a Misto and it was phenomenal!

This particular Rita's is inside Bedford Candies and Popcorn. Their custard and Italian ice are both amazing. Our dog loves it too and it doesn't upset his stomach!

I love their cotton candy Italian ice, they have tons of other stuff like chocolate, popcorn and custards. Great prices to for larger portions.

It is inside Bedford Candies, in the same strip mall as uncle Joes woodshed. The reviewer that posted one star clearly has never been there. Rita’s is fantastic!

Being from Philly I've absolutely missed Rita's like you couldn't believe! Now to have one so close to me is a dream come true! So excited to be able to share my love for ritas, real italian ice, and a lil piece of home with all my friends here in Altoona!

Italian ice and custard selections are great, enjoy trying different flavors and buying Bedford candies while in there.

Love it nice little place to get Italian ice for those hot summer days tons of flavors to choose from helpful staff that are very friendly the store was really clean and well decorated they also have frozen custard which is amazing I would honestly say you should try some I've never had such good Italian ice other than Rita's I tried one in New Jersey when I was traveling can't say more go get some!
