This was our second visit with Mary Ann. We are very impressed with her. She is so genuine and very knowledgeable. She spends time to patiently explain the situation and never talks down to us. Her follow up after the visit is great 👍

My appointment at University Orthopedics Center of Altoona was above my expectations! Brett provided a tremendous amount of information about the condition of my knees and explained my options thoroughly. I feel very confident about my upcoming surgery and look forward to the care Dr. McClellan, Brett and the rest of the staff will provide.

I expected my first appointment to take forever, with paperwork Insurance Etc. They were quick and efficient and I was seeing shortly after my appointment time. Both practitioners I saw were very pleasant and interested in me. X-rays we're taken right there in the office and the results were reviewed with me within a few minutes. Overall a pleasant experience

From start to finish the experience was great. David explained everything and I felt very confident the course of treatment we chose was the correct one. Also a big thanks to the person who did the scheduling. To get a Dr appointment the next day is almost impossible. It is hard to stop there, everyone I had contact with was polite and very helpful. I was able to get an appointment the day after I called. My check-in was timely and all information was updated. I went to the waiting room and, after a brief wait, was taken directly to x-Ray. Following x-rays, I was taken by the nurse to see Heidi. When she arrived, she had already viewed the film and was prepared to discuss my specific issue.

My time with University Orthopedic has been very good. The staff is superior and always looking out for the patient's health and safety. I would especially like to recognize Dr. Singer and his team. I could never be more pleased with the outcome of my experience with his team.

I have seen Dr Khalouf for different issues and I’ve always been very pleased with the outcome. He and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, always letting you know exactly what they’re doing. I highly recommend him for help with your pain management!

From my very first encounter start to finish. Impressed with all the staff. Probably one of the first times I went to a consult and walked out treated. Vanessa is amazing. So intelligent and worked with my issue with confidence. I was so lucky to find her.

Saw Dr. Greenleaf for consultation on hip replacement. He had all the time we needed to actually put my mind at ease, which is no easy task. Scheduled the procedure the same day. Everyone in the office was caring and helpful.I highly recommend UOC for your care.

MaryAnn Lyons was terrific. She thoroughly explained my x-rays and options. She seemed to anticipate all my questions and concerns. She was very thorough, clear, friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to work with her.

Dr. Khalouf is the most wonderful, kind gentle and empathetic doctor I’ve ever had! Many of my family members have had the same experience under his staff and care at pain management!! He is very honest and truly wants to help you lead a pain free life. His assistant Sami is so sweet and makes you feel so comfortable and taken care of when there. I have always had a great experience from start to finish at UOC! I would recommend him and UOC to anyone!!

Had appointment with Dr. Greenleaf on Thursday for hip pain. Received cortisone injection and he called in an order for Celebrex. Today, Saturday, I am pain free and had a good nights sleep finally! Thank you Dr. Greenleaf!

Dr. Ley is AMAZING! She is so thorough and explains everything step by step about treatment needs. I left my visit finally being heard and cared for in a healthcare system that doesn’t always make you feel that way.

I had the pleasure of having Vanessa,PA, for my appointment yesterday. Vanessa was very thorough in every aspect from reviewing my history, asking questions, the actual physical exam and X-rays. She even had several more X-rays taken to try to figure out the source of my pain. I never felt rushed during my appointment and would highly recommend Vanessa.

Dr. Greenleaf provided exceptional care before, during and after my total hip surgery. He answered all my questions and concerns and I was very confident with him. Without hesitation if in the future I should ever need my other hip done, I would choose him. I'm finally pain free and I can enjoy walking, riding my bicycle, and dancing again.

Mary Ann was very thorough explaining the MRI and indicating where my problem was. Have seen her at different times for different problems and she is always very good at explaining and reviewing my problems. Will definitely go back again.
