The Meadows Original Frozen Custard

Very busy but very fast, service was friendly and the frozen treats were awesome. First time visit but will be back! Don't forget every day Veterans discount!

Their ice cream is always great! My favorite flavor is their cookie dough and we always love the cow tracks! The portions are huge. The mini golf near by is fun.

Very cool 1950's style frozen custard shop. Formica countertop tables with red stools to sit on, and the custard is delicious! My top pick is the Turtle Sundae!

Consistency great. Service is generally really friendly. The Black Cow and Orange Fluff are always good. Haven’t had anything on the menu I haven’t liked. Best banana split I have ever had.

A family favorite going back to the 50s when my in-laws were kids. Always try to stop here on the way home from Western PA. The soft serve is excellent, the flavors of the day are good. Great 50s "sock-hop" atmosphere

First time visiting, and I thought it was extraordinarily charming. Very vintage, 1950s vibe, and the staff was nice and friendly. Not hot food, mostly ice cream and whatnot. Banana split was fantastic!

Delicious! My girlfriend loves the custard here, and I really enjoyed the mango Italian ice. Prices are extremely fair for the quality. Would come again next time I'm in Altoona!

One of the best little ice cream shops in Altoona. We had fresh frozen custard. The atmosphere of the shop and the staff was excellent. A must see when in the area.

Awesome frozen custard! Two special flavors of the day along with chocolate and vanilla. They also happen to have the perfect spoon, very sturdy, not too wide or too deep! You won't cut your mouth on the edges!

Awesome place to take the kids and there ice cream is o so good. They always have a different flavor of the day along with a lot of other things! There is miniature golf for the kiddos and the adults are able to join in and I know my friend and enjoyed it just as much as the kids haha. Ohh and there’s also really nice batting cages so all you baseball players get out there and get practicing !🥰🥰🥰👍👍

This place has been around since my wife lived there as a little girl. The last day of school all the kids knew to bring money because the buses would stop there for frozen custard on the way home. We were there around 3:00 the other day and there was still a bunch of people there. Frozen custard at its best.

We were several family's all from out of state for a funeral. We had just left the graveside of my grandmother. My mom and my Auntie had come here as children, as they grew up in Duncansville. It was a very nice way to end our visit. The treats were all amazing, the service was fast and friendly and the decor was fun!!

The new golf course is beautiful. It has some unique water parts. And best of all, the holes have drains in them.
