I took my almost 3 year old here with a group of his friends. He's allergic to dairy and egg, so I figured he'd have to go without. But I was pleasantly surprised to see they have dairy free ice cream! The owner even offered to bring out the container for me to read to ingredients, just to be sure. He usually gets left out when it comes to treats with friends. He was so excited to get ice cream like everyone else! Fantastic service and delicious ice cream.

Outstanding ice cream shop! Choice of flavors, fresh cones and fixings and food available to boot! Great quiet place to sit and eat ice cream the old-fashioned way. Highly reccommend!

A great family friendly place to go. I would love to see them get more business but also want to keep it a secret so they can keep the same relaxing feel when we visit 😊. All ice cream we have tried has been wonderful and the food was surprisingly great as well. We just found this place last year and will continue to be regulars.

We came here on a few days trip from the Bronx. Just happened to find this place and decided to give it a try friendly staff and great food they ain’t cheap on the portions we highly recommended.

WOW! Best ice cream ever! Fresh, light on the stomach, creamy. I had the managers special with fresh served strawberries. My spouse had a soft serve choc ice cream in a choc peanut dipped cone. He Especially loved the cone! The whole ride home we talked about how great the quality and price was. Service was quick and friendly. There are about 3 benches w tables and about 3 benches To sit in grass. Nice outdoor energy and easy parking lot or side parking. It was a perfect way to end the day

Soooo yummy! Great taste and decent price for homemade ice cream

This place will always be a favorite spot of mine. The milkshakes are awesome, ice cream choices are great and they make AMAZING mozzarella sticks. Such a good after work snack!! I don’t recommend the coffee milkshake though but everything else is a thumbs up. The workers are friendly and service is good.

The best soft serve! Even my dogs know to turn down their street because they get their 25¢ dog treats every time!

I’ve never seen so many dipped cone flavors!! I will be back for the toasted coconut! I appreciated all of the kitchen staff wearing masks and trying to execute orders quickly! There was only one window open to order from and pick up from so, social distancing was impossible. But it’s nice to have the picnic tables to sit on while waiting, when they’re not too busy! What a great local ice cream shop! Can’t wait to try their hot food as well!

Excellent ice cream shop! Great choice of flavors, very fresh waffle cone, but was a bit disappointed their dipped waffle cones were out of stock. Nice quiet place to sit and eat, very charming part of town.

Try the Pumpkin Pie - wow! Great spot for ice cream when you’re in the mood.

Amazing ice cream. I personally love there chocolate peanut butter shakes. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if your in the area.

For a local place, you cannot beat their soft serve ice cream. Extremely smooth and even a little creamy with just the right amount of richness. If you want amazing and afordable ice cream in the Wappingers area, the Village Creamery is the way to go

I enjoy their banana boat regularly; so good. Can't wait for next season for more great ice cream. They are also very generous with topings.

Nice place to hang out in the evening for an ice cream . Owner is so sweet to explain and help if you can't decide what flavor to eat like me 😁

I love this ice creamery! If you're on a diet or need to be away from sweets this is not the place to be...otherwise WOW! Great selection and nice heavy handed heaping helping of a scoop!!

Best ice cream stand in Wappingers/Poughkeepsie area. Owners and employees are courteous and friendly. Good selection of flavors, reasonably priced, and very clean.
