I have been fitted by both Christian & Rob. They are incredibly knowledgeable & add immense value to the fitting experience. Their ability to explain the what & the why of the process makes it educational & allowed me to feel comfortable with the purchase. The customer service following the fitting was very strong.

I appreciate the job both of them did. Thanks again guys!

I've had 2 fittings with Club Champion in Princeton now. Both experiences were excellent, with Christian and Robert both listening to my objectives, and patiently dialing in the equipment to meet those expectations. I had the opportunity to try a number of clubs based on the shaft we arrived at, and I am extremely pleased with the performance on the course following the fitting. I highly recommend.

I had Robert for my fitting and he was extremely helpful. I noticed an immediate difference with the clubs he chose for me, and had kept me up to date on my clubs. Highly recommend Club champion.

Great experience with Christian fitting shafts and adjusting the lie on Mizuno irons. It is a little troublesome in a good way that I am hitting my irons 10 - 15 yards further and trying to dial in the correct club to hit. Of course, this is trouble I can deal with. Excellent all around experience by Christian as he explained the adjustments and why they were necessary based upon my swing.

I had a great experience working w/ Rob at CC - Princeton. Utilizing the data he made it very easy to understand the strengths and weaknesses I had and what we should be working towards to have the best possible club for me.

Great experience with Robert. Knowledgeable and patient. Got about 15 yds extra distance and tighter dispersion on trackman.

My wife and I recently had our custom fitting with Christian and Rob. All went well. They were efficient and professional. Once the fitting process was complete, we purchased the recommended clubs. A+ for this place!

Addendum(5/7/24)- The waiting period to get your clubs made and delivered is excessively long.

I recently had three fittings with Rob, for Irons, Driver/hybrids, and wedges.

I went back twice after the 1st fitting because I liked Rob's knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to explain things. In the end, I got all the clubs that were recommended from the fittings.

The reason this is not 5 stars is because of Rob's passive aggressive style in two of his email communications. Any challenge he appeared to take personally. I challenged pricing after my 2nd fitting. When my irons came in unassembled, I challenged the process and how this mistake could happen. Both times, especially the second, Rob's emails were somewhat confrontational. He seemed to take offense at my questions related to price and especially the mistake at the factory.

I'm definitely no expert when it comes to golf fittings or golfing in general. I am an expert in customer service and his two emails would definitely fall into the category of how not to communicate with customers, especially those spending over $5K.

Never been more disrespected as a customer who walked into a store with full intention of buying something. If you are a recreational player, this is clearly not the place for you.

I book a full bag fitting with the current promo (normal $400, priced at $100 if you buy a club), take a half day at work, show up early and wait on the couches for my fitter to be ready. Person at the desk tells me I would be working with Rob who is just finishing up something quick.

Once Rob is ready he calls me over and asks where my clubs are. I attempt to explain to him that I have hand me down clubs that are about 30 years old that I never hit well so I wanted to start fresh, but before getting about 5 words out he cuts me off to explain that he needs a baseline value to compare the new clubs to so that I can see how much of a difference these new clubs make. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this as I know this is the standard "fitting process" but I explain that I don't even use these clubs and that I will just hit whoever's clubs I am playing with because they are just that old and that any baseline value they provide won't be helpful.

We get over that initial hump and we go into how much I am looking to spend and I say that I would like to buy irons in the $1000-1500 price range along with a driver, putter and mix in a hybrid (because I simply can't hit my woods). I explain that I am a recreational player that is lucky to get out 5 times a year so I don't need anything fancy. Well...this is where I completely lost Rob. He explains to me that I have come to "a fancy place" and that any clubs that I have on my mind that could be in that $1000-1500 range simply won't come out to that cost due to their "process of building clubs." I won't go down that rabbit hole on here for you but let's just say that they only order the heads from the big named companies and they have their own "special shafts and grips that you can't buy through the big name brands." Because of this I would be looking more in the $3k range for irons and closer to the $5k range for a full bag.

For some people that may be acceptable, perhaps they play 50 times a year and are looking to squeeze 5 yards out of their 7 iron with a shaft/grip that will triple the cost of irons, but for me that was not acceptable. I ask if they have the ability to order stock from the manufacturers and Rob proceeds to let me know that because he is such a good fitter that he could probably make that work with irons, but there was basically no way he could do that for a driver/woods. He attempts to have me lower my fitting to irons only instead of the full bag, and this is my favorite part....he legitimately tells me "and also I wouldn't be upset if you decided this wasn't for you and you left for a fitting that would suit a recreational golfer like yourself better at a place like Golf Galaxy or something." Now I am not sure if this was just Rob's incredible lack of sales skills or if this company tries to push people away that aren't willing to buy their "premium products" but this was simply mind blowing to hear someone push me off to a competitor.

Even after hearing this I try one last time with Rob saying that I drove out here and still want a fitting, won't just getting the numbers help me a bit? Well Rob let me know that the numbers wouldn't matter because anything he fit me into I wouldn't be able to get elsewhere. I guess that was just the final sign that Rob wanted nothing to do with me today so I told him that it was clear he didn't want to do this fitting, shook his hand, and walked out. All in all I think I spent about 10 minutes with Rob without stepping foot into the bay, let alone swinging a club, before he pushed me out the door.

I did immediately get an email that my fitting was canceled and was asked if I would like to reschedule. Instead I took Rob's advice and called Golf Galaxy and was there in 30 min to get a fitting and ultimate buy a full set of clubs and had a fantastic experience, so thanks for the advice Rob!
