This is a great coffee shop to stop by and hang out. The atmosphere is cozy and is a good place to work, play card games, or talk. The coffee is crafted very well. I would come here again!

Just what we needed in Long Beach. Everything is delicious, the coffee is great, service was perfect - we will be back.

This is what we’ve been craving on the peninsula! What a nice atmosphere and staff. We loved the flat bread pizzas (which is big praise coming from our 2 year old who is very picky), we had the iced tea, nitro cold brew, Sherman IPA and the Pitted martini 🍸. We would order them all again! They are connected to the Cottages, but we came in as guests from Ocean Park trying to get out of the hail and felt lucky to find such a gem! They had a nice shop attached with really cute merchandise, I already have the feeling I missed out on the sandalwood and coconut candle, we will be back!!!

This new modern, chic, upscale all inclusive cafe has it all: cafe atmosphere with specialized cocktails, specialized breakfast, lunch and dinner options, cozy seating with a great fireplace. The food was outstanding. Service and atmosphere to match. We ordered the quiche and flatbread pizza, which were delicious! Highly recommended.

My family and I have a fondness for cozy cafes, and we were overjoyed to discover this hidden gem. We stayed in Long Beach for the weekend. Found the Current Cafe on the last day. Very cool, modern cafe with coffee, cocktails and small bites. Refreshing to find such a cool little spot to snag a coffee before our beach hike with the doggies! Will def come back and have cocktail on our next trip here to Long Beach!

We came for breakfast and coffee. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. The staff is phenomenal and polite. Great to see a quality cafe in the area. We will be back!

Great spot - fresh, tidy and friendly. I’ve tried a few dishes here and they’re all delicious. I recommend a pastry from their display and a breakfast burrito or sando.

1. banana bread was very good. If one does not want butter on it, let the counter know
2. ham and cheese croissant was clearly made in-house and closer to French croissants than to the crescent rolls found everywhere else. It's really hard to keep the butter cold over the hours it takes to make them, and these were not as fragile as might have been (filled croissants are always a little denser than pure ones)
3. the hash was a plurality of good corned beef, not potatoes. I'm not sure potatoes were second: pepper, cabbage, and eggs were generous as well. The components are left in medium pieces rather than minced, riced, or chopped in an equally-sized collection. The eggs were poached perfectly
4. grapefruit juice tasted fresh-squeezed
5. decaf lattes were solidly good, and served in traditional bowl-like mugs (sugar on hand as a sweetener)
6. the Dutch Baby was a dense, flat, mildly-spiced pancake served with a lot of whipped cream and sliced strawberries. I expected a tall, puffed thing closer to a Yorkshire Pudding. Having made both, I suspect the 6" pan was not hot enough (it needs to be at the limit of what it can take, like 500°) and not large enough to have the mass to deliver a lot of heat as well as high temperature

Herself intends to return for brunch cocktails and shakshuka (not necessarily at the same time)
