Sean's passion for AV technology, product integration knowledge, and commitment to delivering first-rate results for his clients through his carefully-chosen installation team are a special package. I had a home theater installation project that I brought to more than half a dozen companies in the Bay Area. None compared to the depth, detail, integrity, and transparency Sean provided. A total professional who took all the guesswork out of the process and gave sage guidance. His installers are true colleagues, not subcontracted workers. Most of all, I really appreciated how someone with Sean's wealth of industry knowledge was so patient and accommodating. Full Spectrum is first class all the way.

Sean Mendell, of Full Spectrum Technology Group, is heads and shoulders (literally, quite a tall fellow) above the rest of the Home Automation companies....Our company was featured in Sunset magazine in April of 1982 for the first media room published and I built my first custom "smart house" in 1989. It has been a roller coaster ride trying to align with a knowledgeable and trustworthy individual. The landscape of tech is changing all the time and requires constant research across the spectrum (yeah I like the company name too).

As a Certified Professional Building Designer and licensed General Contract for the past 42 years, I have had the opportunity to work with most of the A/V companies in the this area and found them not up to snuff. It was when Sean designed and implemented the smart house A/V system in my own showcase home that I knew I had found a gem.

Sean installed my home theater several years ago for a different company. The system has worked great only we managed to break the universal remote he custom programmed for us.

I reached out to him at Full Spectrum Technology Group and he was able to furnish a replacement and re-program it to our specific needs without hassle or delay.

So happy to have worked with Sean and his team and recommend them wholeheartedly. We had a disappointing experience with another vendor who wouldn't follow Covid protocols (non-starter for us) but everyone with Full Spectrum was very respectful, communicative, knowledgable, and honest.

Funnily enough, it turns out Sean had been part of the original team that set up the audio in our house (~15 years ago, prior to him founding Full Spectrum) so he was already familiar with what we were dealing with, namely, an aged system that needed to be updated/upgraded. He's clearly knowledgable, but didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need. We ended up with an awesome and very user-friendly Sonos system for indoor and outdoor, and he was also great about working with what we felt comfortable spending. If FSTG was described in a word, it would be: “professional”. Or “reliable”. Or maybe “quality” or “knowledgeable”. All of them, actually. Sean and his team are incredible. The work was immaculate, their attention to detail was spot on, and the work was completed in a timely manner. Their prices are more than fair. All of this brings me to my 5 star, 10/10 review for FSTG. If you’re thinking of installing or retrofitting a sound or internet system for your home (I did both) you really should contact this company.
