I have been sending and receiving a lot more packages the last few months and Eddie, from summitville office is always ready with a smile. He takes the time to get to know the people he’s working for and invests in them. Refreshing! Love our postal worker!! 📦📬

In 1976 several painting were created celebrating the bicentennial year for our country. Several murals still exist on the walls of the Alexandria Post Office. Some of the employees pictured at the time 1976 are honored for there service. Others not shown in pictures, Leo Roesler, Bill Alexander, Paul Fuqua, Charlie Tucker, Norm Humphrey, Martin Patz, Nona Allen, and William Roesler.

In 1976 Channel 8 news featured a story of the Alexandria Post Office on there show "Around Indiana" with Josh Littman. After the airing of the show we had people all over the State to visit Alexandria.

Always had a great experience at this branch not to mention much faster. I recently moved and still debate driving to this branch because my new one is so slow!

You get a 1 star for terrible customer service, because when I call I get send to talk to a robot instead of a human being at this post office location.

Our regular driver is awesome!!! I do a lot of online shopping, so get a lot of deliveries. Our postman always lets me know when he is here and brings my mail to the door with my package. If I am not home he leaves the package where it is not visible from the road. My problem is with the substitute, she doesn't even come on the porch and drops the package at the edge of the porch and never signals when she is here. Two times now she has failed to leave a package that has been stated that is out for delivery. And she lies and says porch or drive is not accessable. She did that today even though she left another package that arrived today. Also she never looks at the mail she delivers. I am always getting my neighbors mail and they get mine.

The worst postmaster and staff in Indiana. Rarly are they friendly or not rude. Hateful clerk at front desk. Postmaster is rude and lazy. Mail is always delivered wrong address. Daily we get other peoples mail. The worst in Indiana. Very unhelpful. Need new postmaster and staff.

Incompetent delivery people, or consistently stealing packages instead of delivering them, the first is pure idiocy, if it's the second then it becomes a federal offense since ironically mail theft is still a federal crime.

Horrible customer service.. They seem to expect you to know their job and everything else regarding the USPS. Use FedEx or UPS for shipping and save the hassle!

Horrible ! The people there are so mean and hateful every single one ! I dread going there or even calling because if you have a question they treat you like your stupid ! Hate them !!!!!!
