Schrader Farms Meat Market

When we bought our house in Romulus a little over two years ago, Sue Schrader was the first person we met. We went to the meat market to grab some stuff for our first meal in the new house. Sue was extremely friendly, the meat was really good quality, and the prices were extremely fair. We shop there every week now and have never been disappointed with the quality of the products or the quality of service. We couldn't be happier to have such a nice meat market and such nice neighbors.

I will always prefer local stores like this over the mass production/grocery store meat experience. Quality meat and great selections at this market. Especially the bacon.

Best meat selection and prices in the area. They have provided us with large amounts for a graduation party. Very friendly staff to help, andm answer your questions.

Amazing meats, especially the kielbasa! The prices are extremely reasonable, the meat is so fresh. I wish we lived closer because I would get all of my beef and pork products here if we did! It's amazing!

Always have a great selection of choices, excellent cuts of meat, custom processing and local products as well. Sometimes there are deals and specials. Everyone working there is wonderful and I always pick up extra meat to stock up and try something new.

They are very friendly and helpful. Their meat is delicious, excellent beef flavor. Better than the supermarket (Wegmans and Walmart) excellent Quality. I asked for sidepork and they cut it up for me, I had sidepork as a child,,it cooked up crisp and taste so good with homemade relish. I highly recommend the Schrader Meatmarket in Romulus!!!

I grew up and still live in Queens NY but have been hunting and vacationing in Hector NY for most of life. Only until now did I discover Schrader Farms in Romulus and so happy I did. I visited them my last trip up to buy and sample some steaks and roasts. It is hands down the best beef I’ve ever had. Once I enjoyed a few more of the steaks and burgers I had purchased from there meat market I ordered a whole cow to split with my uncle. The store and shop is immaculate and dealing with Sue and Chris was a pleasure. Wouldn’t think twice about recommending them to anyone I know. I’m also very proud to be able to support businesses in the finger lakes region any chance I can. God Bless and keep up the great work.

Local family business making excellent meats. Our family has known the owners for many years and always respected the work and the products they make. We've purchased a lot of things over the years and never had any issues. The in-house made hot dogs are something my kids try to get when the get a chance to stop in.

I wish I lived closer to this place. The pork chops are unlike the ones from the grocery, these are tasty, soft and moist. The bacon, jerky and hot dogs are well above average. Their sausage is the best I have ever eaten. It is a coarser grind of meat that is so unbelievably well spiced it makes me want to stock up with 50lbs for the year. Go, you will not regret it.

We stopped today and bought some more Delmonico steaks. They told my wife about some new cuts of steaks, Beef Ranch Steaks and Beef Denver Steaks, both very reasonably priced. We'll both of these steaks are every bit as tasty and tender as the Delmonico. The people there are great. Thank you

Schrader Farms is a return to what's right. 50 years ago you knew the name of your butcher, your tailor, your mechanic. You liked them. You trusted them. They took care of you. We got away from that relational consumerism for the last few generations, but the good old days are back. Shop locally. Smile. Talk. Ask about the product. Enjoy the superior quality. Life is short, eat great food.

Perhaps the under rated highlight in the small town of Romulus. I've pretty much known the owners since I was in early grade school, I played football with their youngest son. Definitely give this place 5 stars without any hesitation. I know how the cattle is raised and that I can trust eating it, unlike Walmart where it's more suspicious. I'd rather see my money supporting a local family business as opposed to corporate Walmart.

Best meat anywhere. It is in how they raise the cows. Their beef tenderloin I will put up against the best steakhouses in the country. Melt in your mouth tender. It is an absolute gem.

I was told about this place from a friend and I love it. I have enjoyed steaks at some of the best food places around but since I have had steaks from Schrader I have not been able to stop talking about the quality. I have not been back to a restaurant for steaks.

We've bought bundles of (frozen) meat here several times now. You can buy cheaper, but these are good quality meats, you can taste the difference.
