Their staff did everything to make my birthday memorable. The service was so attentive.

All of our interactions were positive. Yes, we had a problem with something non functioning in our room, but it was addressed quickly and professionally. Now we are going to look at other Lark hotels to stay in. Chain hotels, feh!

Every year for many years now the most wonderful woman that I’ve ever known has taken me away from it all for my birthday weekend. It’s the best birthday present that I’ve ever received! This year’s surprise was rolling up the driveway at the WHITEHALL in Camden Maine. Just a few observations to write about. The door to our TINY room had to be smashed into and yanked on just to enter or exit. The parking lot was incredibly dark! I wouldn’t want my loved one going out to the car at night for any reason! Playing hide n seek with a matchbook. Someone entered our room to provide room service even though we didn’t request it. An absolute invasion of our privacy! There were too many things to complain about and I’ve NEVER complained about any place that she has taken me. EVER! The two employees were great! The property needs a serious renovation. I would have preferred to take this up with the owner of Lark Properties, but it was too difficult to get a hold of a human! Take your money (a lot of money) to a different place!
