Sending Loretta to Mikal was the best decision we could have ever made! She is a little over a year old and was crazy! Mikal literally transformed her! She is the absolute best dog now. My family was blown away as soon she walked back in our home. The communication with tip top was great from the start. We received updates AND pictures every single week to let us know how our girl was doing and what to expect next. Honestly the results we have seen with Loretta has exceeded our expectations! Mikal is a miracle worker! Sent off both of my boys as everyday tasks like a simple walk turned into a battle. With a new baby, it was impossible to take both pups with a stroller and their energy became too much to handle. But I am blown away by the progress they made in such a short timeframe! I am so relieved that I can take both dogs and a stroller out together and it actually be enjoyable instead of a daunting task. We are so excited to start attending group classes and keep up their learning!!

Our 10 month old Shar-Pei went from a sweet boy to aggressive, what seemed like overnight. Mikal came to our home, explained his process, and made us feel extremely comfortable and safe. We had private, at home sessions for our pup and in 6 weeks, our Luke's aggressiveness has completely gone. The group classes that come with training are an excellent way to test out what you've learned in a very controlled environment. Mikal and bear were awesome, they trained my German shepard and 3 weeks later he was completely different dog he was listening and doing everything he thought him and I was able to easily learn from Mikal's great teaching skills. If you have a dog that needs training, Mike and bear can take care of the job

We had such a great experience with Mike! Our 3 year old standard poodle definitely needed obedience training. We did the boot camp package where she went and stayed with him for two weeks. She came back and now listens so well, and walks SO well on her leash. It’s incredible what they could accomplish in a few weeks. He has also made two visits out to our home to make sure we understand how to implement everything our dog learned at home. He also said he could come back out again if needed. It was worth every penny!!

I adopted the sweetest Husky named Max just before Thanksgiving. It did not take me very long to confirm that Max was a little standoffish (to put nicely) with other dogs on our walks. The last thing I wanted was to have to rehome my dog, or worse put him down, because his temperament towards other dogs escalated to biting or fighting. After a deep dive (ADHD hyper fixation) on how best to help Max overcome this struggle, I realized this wasn't a party trick I could teach him on my own, I came across Tip Top K9. I very quickly signed up for my first lesson where I met Mikal. And let me tell you, within 10 minutes of an introduction lesson, Max was a totally different dog in front of Bear (see photo from our first intro, before even signing up for a full on program). I am Happy to report that training with Mikal (and Bear of course) has been MY PLEASURE. We got so much more than we bargained for with them. Not only is Max controlled and calmer around other dogs (see other photo, Max hanging out with his BEST FRIEND?!), he behaves beautifully in chaotic public places, and his manners at home have improved greatly. What we have learned with them didn't just stop with our lessons, we were given FLAWLESS guidance and the tools necessary to reinforce and even progress our training at home.

With our private lessons now completed, we are looking forward to attending group classes....and hoping to see Bear again also so my daughter can fetch an ungodly amount of sticks for him chop into sawdust.

I will start by saying Mikal was absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a trainer or even thinking about getting one, just do it! You will not regret it!

My husband and I wanted 2 puppies. We ended up with 2 Aussiedoodle puppy brothers from the same litter. We only made it 2 weeks from when we picked up the boys and immediately knew we were in over our heads with dog training. Our entire life was just chaos and my husband and I were struggling with our day to day lives. The dogs were fighting and they just wouldn't listen to us. They were so bad we were embarrassed to walk them or bring them anywhere. Even vet trips were a nightmare. We called Tip Top K9 after a lot of research.

Mikal and Bear showed up at our door like saviors and walked into our chaos. After talking with Mikal, seeing his video, meeting Bear, and seeing his training techniques, we signed up IMMEDIATELY. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and we knew we could trust him with our new babies. We got weekly updates which we looked forward to every week! We could see thier progress every week. Mikal worked his magic and brought back our dogs. A complete 180 from when he picked them up. The boys are so well behaved and I could tell Mikal took care of them as if they were his own. The way the boys behave now surpassed our expectations. I HIGHLY recommend Mikal!!!!!

As a dog mom, I’m super protective of my fur-children. I knew relatively soon after meeting Mikal that my boy was in great hands when he was with him. He was extremely patient, honest, friendly, thorough, communicative, and overall a likable person. You can tell he truly is passionate about the work he does. Michael and Bear have completely changed my life! My family and I own a full bread pit pull as most know a very strong headed dog, I got her when she was 6 weeks old and had grown into a 9month old beast! With the training Michael has provided it completely changed the game. My dog now listens on command and me and my family have gained complete control over our dog! Mikal at Tip Top K9 has been great. I am so thankful he walked into my vet office to introduced himself. I have been in the veterinary field for over 20 years and have previously done the training on all of my dogs with positive treat training and clicker training however my current little monster was not responding to that and I needed help. Mikal has been great in our one on one lessons after evaluating my Frenchie and discussing his method and approach on how to get things on track. It has been wonderful seeing my puppy progress and I am excited to continue the training in the group classes as he has already come so far with just the six private lessons we have done. Wow, Mikal and his team are amazing! We sent our 6 month old cockapoo to Mikal for a week (ended up being 9 days) of training and what a difference it made. Mikal came to our home for his initial session, picked our dog up when it was time for his camp and also dropped him back off to us. When he dropped him off he spent nearly 2 hours going over his training and how to keep improving his skills. I would 100% recommend Tip Top K9 and will be sending all our future dogs for training. Mikal could not have been kinder, accommodating and worth every penny. We will be dropping our dog back off to Mikal when we go on our next trip for a refresher course and to learn another skill. So happy with our results.

Our experience with TipTopK9 and has improved our relationship with one year old Boston Terrier Eddie a huge way. My wife used to tell our friends Eddie was the "Devil Dog." Without going thru all his sins. I will say we let Mikal know all of our behavioral expectations and he and Eddie met all of them. My wife calls it a miracle and I love it that they now have a great relationship. Eddie is still playful and energetic but he has learned learned our boundaries and respects them.
