I strongly recommend Dr. Hales and the therapists at Clarity Centers. The clinicians at their practice have an impressive variety of skillsets and training backgrounds- I have a high level of confidence in their ability to serve the mental health needs of their clients.

Shawn is knowledgeable and caring and always up on the latest research.

This place schedules initial appointments like used car salesmen. Not only do they not have appointments. They will continue to contact you after you ask them not to. A genuinely strange experience initial contact experience. I imagine their waitlist is because they're probably pushing people to schedule even though they don't have anything available for the foreseeable future. This practice of pushing to schedule is not ethical.

This center takes financial advantage of people asking help. Clarity centers will run patients through a “work up” for months with no results. Providers are dismissive, and do not really listen to the needs of their patients.

My husband struggles with anxiety and ADHD and sought treatment here. After a 3 month long work-up by this practice (who use PAPER records and send results via snail mail), they concluded that he was a narcissist and an alcoholic. He is the most caring person I know, and I’ve dealt with narcissists my whole life, he is not one. He also does not drink. At all. These baseless assertions were extremely hurtful. So discouraging. They clearly didn’t listen to him.

With their new “diagnoses,” they did not provide any resources for him to get further help. It delayed him in getting the help he needed.

He has since gone for a second opinion from a practice I found on ZocDoc. A kind doctor immediately diagnosed him with anxiety, prescribed proper mediation, and he is finally receiving the care he needed. Any competent provider could tell him that his “results” from this center were bogus.

This practice is slow, inefficient, and harmful for people who need help. They do not listen to their patients.
