Major kudos to Ryan at Joel Schneider Services!! I was stranded in Albany, over 100 miles from home when my car wouldn't start. I walked into Joel Schneider Services and was greeted by Ryan. I told him about my predicament, and thought it was my starter. Ryan assured me he thought it was a battery, and volunteered to take a charging pack to my car and check things out. I walked back to my car, and Ryan arrived a few minutes later, hooked up the charger pack, and my car started. However, when he removed the cables, the car died. So he started it again and left the connections in place for several minutes, and suggested I drive it down to the shop so he could more thoroughly check the battery.

I was able to drive it down the block, and Ryan immediately checked the battery, which was showing very low starting power. The battery was only two years old, and I was able to contact the warranty company to discuss my options. Turns out everything was covered. Ryan had a new battery installed, and was very patient as I worked with the warranty company to arrange direct payment for the battery and service charges.

Ryan stayed beyond the normal closing time to complete all the necessary paperwork and protocols to make sure all was taken care of before I left.

It was an incredibly delightful experience to be served by such a concerned and adept professional. Ryan went far above and beyond what was necessary to help me deal with being a stranded motorist, far from home, and late in the afternoon. So many thanks to Ryan and to Joel Schneider Services for their outstanding service!!!

Great service from everyone. Inspected everything and discussed with me what they found before they started working on it. Total bill was much less than I expected, and my car drives perfectly now
