Sam's Pizza Restaurant

Not the place to go if you’re ballin on a budget but I never meet a calzone I couldn’t finish until this $20 double Italian beef monster. Favorite pizza joint for 20+ years

Had my mother's 75th Birthday here & it was amazing. The food was amazing & they made sure to provide an amazing selection of delicious food!! I can't rave enough about it!! We will definitely use them again!! Thank you Sams for making her birthday so special!

Tried to say cash only until we said we were going to cancel order. Then said they could take a card. Kinda shady tactics. Very pricey for pizza but good.

I love taking the gang out for pizza once in a blue moon, and especially if the moon is blue. Pizza doesn’t mess around and neither do we!! He looks at us weird when we walk in wearing our pajamas but it’s all cool when we get out the karaoke and start to sing our hearts out. My cat loves their pizza too. She sits on my shoulder and slurps it up off the plate. Bro they are so cool and I don’t even know how to describe it.

The restaurant was fantastic. Ended up changing tables due to an elderly lady over sharing very loudly with her dinner companion.

By far best pizza ever. Calzones are huge definitely a family favorite

Pizza is good, however the lasagna is misrepresented on the menu online, looked nothing like the picture. Tasted awful, not much meat, was more like Stoffers frozen lasagna, I ordered It on a Tuesday as a daily pasta special for 8.99 and was charged 13.50 regular price didn't realize till I brought it home, and bread was stale and hardly any salad dressing on salad, they put it on the salad for me and ther wasn't enough...the pizza is usually good but don't order when busy, it can be a roll of the dice weather it's cooked properly

Best pizza. I have never been disappointed with anything here. No idea on the atmosphere but it's delivered fast and hot.

Grew up coming in. Any time we're in the area, we have to stop. Amazing food!

I was here last night. I was told by my sis that it is the best around! Boy was she right!! My nephews were so excited to hear we went. Needless to say, my sis and I shared.😊

Update: One of the few pizzarias open for dining in. Took a trip to Sam's tonight and it again did not disappoint. Tried their stuffed pizza for the first time and I would highly recommend it. Cheese bread was great as always. Wait staff did a great job keeping us in drinks and food.

Ordered 2 large pizza’s for a kid's sleepover.
Original pizzas that were delivered were unsatisfactory. Called Sam's and we were offered to have new pizza’s made, but we would need to give back the originals. I had to decline, with 6 hungry kids to feed at 6 P.M., we couldn’t wait another 30 minutes. While the kids were eating, doorbell rings and Sam’s had sent 2 fresh pizzas! In addition to freshly made pizzas, manager went above and beyond and sent cannolis for the kids.
That in my opinion was excellent customer service. Thank-you

Good food with fast service and friendly staff

Pizza ordered were spectacular. All three were enjoyed by our family. They were delivered to our campground.
WIll do it more often

Though I do not know the owner, Tony, he went well out of his way to get an order to us on one of the busiest days of the year. You can tell he is a great guy who really cares about the business. And as always, the pizza was the best of anywhere in the Rockford/Beloit/South Beloit area! Overall, this is a great place that I cannot recommend highly enough! Just awesome!

Excellent pizza Tony. Glad to see you standing up for your waiter getting reamed by a lady last night claiming she waited 45 min. and you set her straight they were only there 20 min. Tony we miss the Italian music when dining.

Best pizza around. When I have out of town visitors, they always ask if we can get Sam's pizza. I really like the nice calendar they give away too.
