Bones Bait and Tackle

Great friendly family vibes. I used their shiners which I bought a dozen and a half and I was happy with the way they stayed kicking and swimming. I’m a charter captain and my client hooked a 8LB snakehead and a decent size bass. Also grabbed a urban Florida fishing mutant toad which seems to swim well as a top water bait. I’ll definitely be coming in for more bait.

as a 65yr old retired women who has gain a recent interest in all things fishing, the staff was able to guide me and inform me on all the wide ranges of baits, hooks, fishing lines and lures they offer. Fishing can be quite an intimidating hobby to enter as someone who’s still learning but i always feel welcomed anytime i come in. You can’t beat the price and you can’t beat the service, i would recommend everyone to check them out if you already haven’t!

This bait and Tackle Shop is amazing! They carry all the essentials a person needs to go fishing. They have the best shiners you can buy! Their shiners are well taken of and always survived in my live well for the whole day. A very family friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend this Tackle Shop!

We visited Bones Bait and Tackle while on vacation last week. Their customer service was amazing! My boys said the shiners were lively and the best they had used. Cute store front that is also very clean!

I couldn’t be happier with the customer service at Bones Bait and Tackle. I’m a first time fisherman and the lady and guy at the front walked me through the whole process. Walked out with shiners, pole, fish strings, hooks and an oxygen thing. Friendly environment and good pricing

Stopped in a month back or so after accidentally stumbling across. The owners were super friendly, engaged and warm even though I was just a few minutes before opening. The 11 year old was really fond of them, brought shiners, next day when he caught a 5lb snake eye the only thing he wanted to do was take it to show them.

Bought shiners 2x since and some light tackle and gear. Always friendly, the owners kids are awesome too. Great store. Shiners stayed frisky, think I had one die after about 6 hours of fishing.

Can't wait to get back to the shop and back in the water.

Such an amazing bait shop, the shiners are so lively I caught so many fish with their bait. I am so happy there is finally a bait shop in the area. They were so helpful and nice, they answered all my questions and really helped me get out there and enjoy a day of fishing. If you are in Margate and love to fish you must check them out! Its great to see a family owned and operated business these days!

Super cool people, great prices and very helpful. I’m new to Florida and they helped me out with which gear is good to use. Bought some shiners from them today with the aerator bucket setup, the shiners were all very lively. Definitely a great place to go😎👍💯

This bait store is awesome, they are so friendly and willing to answer all your questions. I was pretty clueless about catching snakeheads and they took so much time to help me and show everything I needed to catch a monster. All the customers that walked through the door were all treated with such kindness, even while I was there asking a million questions. They also host a snakehead tournament every Saturday ( I will be part of them now that I can fish LOL) Be sure to check them out!!

Always pop in at least 2-3 times a week since they open. Either to chat about latest trends in fishing, grabbing a dozen or two with my son and even fishing on my lunch break! Very knowledgable and best prices with great customer service! I love this shop!

Finally a bait shop in this area that actually HAVE LIVE SHRIMP! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely check this place out for your next fishing trip, they have every bait you'd need, highly recommend 👍🏿
