The pastries I had (a cookie and a biscuit) were both delicious. The cookie had an interesting spectrum of textures (well done on the outside, soft with some stickiness in the middle). The biscuit used enough gochujang to add some savoriness but wasn’t intensely gochujang flavored. The laminated pastries look enticing and I would try one next time.

I will say, I was a bit put off by the checkout system defaulting to a suggestion of a $1.50 tip for handing me a $4 cookie in a bag.

this place really blew me away. first, the location - right next to the lechemere train station, very nice area. next, the desserts. i didn’t think it was possible for them to taste better then they looked. i tried the queen•amann and the passion fruit dessert as they were both soo good. the restaurant itself is very cute, there are high tops, low tops, booths and a cozy couch area. there’s also an upstairs area that opens at 4. everything about this place was a 10/10.

It was served at the coffee hour of the building where I live. Cinnamon rolls was very very delicious. And it was so fresh. I will definitely go and buy it myself☺

So glad I took the time to find parking for this beautiful and tasty coffee shop. The two hour parking spots are a little tricky. Very classy interior where business meetings were being held, indie rock music, friendly and helpful staff who provided recommendations and delicious Colombe coffee for my Americano along with several milk options for creamer! I sat on the patio in front and enjoyed every bite & sip! The only suggestions I have is that the patio tables could have used a wipe down.

Loved this cafe's pastries and bagels! The music is loud but the vibes are good. This place seems to get busy and for good reason. Would highly recommend trying the Cold Brew, Gochujang Biscuit, and Chai Banana Bread.

Came here to get a quick bite to eat. I ended up getting the Chicken Shawarma salad, it was absolutely delicious and I came back two days later to have the same plus a Ham and Cheese sandwich.

Very fresh ingredients, plenty of healthy choices and it all tastes amazing.

What a gem!!! I recently hurt my foot, and I'm sporting a cast, which means that I can hardly do any walking. SO, I've been searching for the best spots to do some reading, and THIS 👏🏼 PLACE 👏🏼 IS 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼

I loved their cozy area with couches by the fireplace, plus their seasonal pistachio creme coffee is an absolute treat. Their pastries are super flavorful, so they're great to share. I really enjoyed my time at Cafe Beatrice. It's a new favorite spot.

I've never had a Danish before and I'm in love! Visited for school. The Harvard people are blessed af. How do they keep the egg so perfect like this?! I think this place beats any restaurant brekkie in CA. Boston is amazing. YOU have to try this before you leave Cambridge at least once. I wish I ate indoors but was on a run so did take out. Love love love definitely coming back

The best biscuits in town! I have never been to Cafe Beatrice, but
Pepita Coffee at the Lamplighter Brewery on Broadway has them.
I recommend them also.

OH NO! I see that the biscuits are no longer available. I hope that
this is only temporary. No other ones compare.

The top (as in #1) spot for all pastries. The coffee is excellent - they serve La Colombe which is not usually my favourite but it is good here. I like their breakfast sandwich too.

Toasted Ham and Cheese sandwich for lunch was absolutely delicious! The best I've had in a long time. Also, the best Pumpkin Spice Latte I've ever had!!!! Not too sweet and perfectly spiced.

Laminated dough heaven. The Cinnamon Roll is prevailing winner. Take your buttery, layered laminated dough, and imagine it rolled up with your cinnamon fixings. The effect? Gooey cinnamon-y goodness in the middle, and flaky, crispy fun on the outside. A textural experience. My partner and I often ask ourselves what we’re going to do when we have to leave Cambridge and be so far from Cafe Beatrice and all their treats.

Other honorable mentions: all the cookies, the Palmier, the Kouign Amann, Chai Banana Bread, and literally every pastry because I have enjoyed every single one. Grab some pals and a big box and share them all.

Savory items are also delicious, I’ve loved their Caesar and Cobb salads (chunky delights) and the Cuban sandwich.

Their evening events and dinner offerings from sister restaurants are also excellent shared or when you have more work to do (over a glass of wine maybe!)

In summary, we came for the Cinnamon Roll but have stayed for everything else. Our favorite cafe and bakery!

Best Veggie Danish in Cambridge. Recently dropped by to get their egg + veggie Danish, cinnamon roll, and chocolate hazelnut financier. All the pastries were amazing and they were definitely good as any other famous bakeries in Boston.
The Danish was more like a croissant sandwich but presented as a Danish. Nevertheless, it actually made the experience much better: able to enjoy all the toppings in every bite. The cinnamon roll was nice and crunchy (may be too sweet with vanilla frosting on top), and they overall did a phenomenal job with everything.

After 4 visits, at all different times of day, various orders and social distancing practices, I can safely say this place is my new favorite. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon pick me up, coffee to go with the best staff and atmosphere. Don’t miss the sandwiches on amazing bread or baked desserts.

Best cinnamon rolls in the Boston area. Chocolate chip and Earl grey cookies are excellent as is the Cubano. They have a liquor license to boot and the Beatrice at night is a great concept. If there is any one thing we miss the most after moving out of East Cambridge, it's Cafe Beatrice.

We live around the corner and ordered takeout here for Sunday brunch. We ordered the salmon breakfast sandwich bacon breakfast sandwich, and lemon ginger muffin. The breakfast sandwiches are quite substantially portioned and delicious as was the muffin. Would definitely return.

Ok, Cafe Beatrice manages the trifecta that is basically non-existent in all Boston coffee places, which is good coffee, good pastries and comfortable/well-lit/spacious. 85% of Boston places have 0 or 1 of 3, 12% have 2/3, and the remaining 3% have 3 of 3, but besides Cafe Beatrice tend to be named Tatte which is less exciting by now.
Other bonuses to this place: shaded outdoor seating, near a green space AND near Bluebikes/bikepath and public transit.

Really tasty egg sandwiches, the poppy seed roll is so fluffy. Also got an earl grey cookie which really packs a lot of flavor in! Excited to come back on a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoor space
