Silky's Frozen Custard

Silky's is the number one for me. This spring we tried ice cream and custard places all over West County (and some in the city). Silky's wins. The custard just tastes better than everywhere else. They have cheesecake (Ted Drewe's does not), the prices are fair, they're quick, there is a drive thru, whipped cream is available, and they even have Dirt & Worms. The only thing I would improve are the napkins, they're a little thin.

Still a favorite after all these years!! Love going when I'm back in town 😌

This place is amazing. They served us when Andy’s denied us. We had a great outing of bonding between pit vipers and pool parties. I love silkies. silkies has my heart never will eat ice cream anywhere else.

Always a treat to go to silliest. The staff is always friendly and of course everything is delicious. I love the chairs in front to sit and enjoy my concrete.

We love Silky's. My go to is a mint, Oreo concrete made with the light custard - yum! I'm going to miss the Creve Coeur store, but hopefully the Ellisville staff are just as friendly. They certainly were today!

One of our favorite places to go for frozen custard! The custard base flavor tastes a little like cake batter not plain vanilla which is why we like it so much. We always get a concrete there. If you have never been you need to check it out!

This will always be my go-to frozen custard way better than Ted Drew's. I have never had a bad service here, and the custard is always top teir.

Silky's concretes are truly silky! I have driven by for years and finally stopped. Made a second visit today. I have tried the Peanut Butter Cup and CAT concretes. Both were super tasty, but loved both the name and flavor combo of the CAT, which was coffee, almond and toffee! Yum! I recommend it! Service is friendly and the place looks very well taken care of. We also have tried their strawberry and marshmallow sundaes. Portion sizes are nice. The small sizes are quite big compared to other places. Glad I finally stopped after all this time.

An Ellisville classic! I've been to Silkys more times than I can count. Their custard is tasty and they are generous with the mix ins!

We've tried all the competitors on Manchester and Silky's Frozen Custard is by far the best. The plain chocolate is so nice and chocolaty and it's always done right. I especially like the people that work here, the kids that run the place are so nice!

If you're in the Wildwood area this is definitely the best frozen custard, high recommend.

Very good frozen custard. Busy but line moves fast. Update: the sizes are bigger then you might think so worth the money. The taste is very good. My personnel favorite is the latte da concrete. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I ordered 2 concrete, they were very fast and friendly. We had our ice cream within a couple minutes and they tasted delicious.

The frozen custard is excellent! The consistency is extra smooth and silky. They are on par quality with Ted Drewes, only lagging them in variety of flavors. That being said, they do offer a good variety more than just standard chocolate and vanilla. I'll take shorter lines and the convenience of a drive through over an enormous number of flavors anytime though. I give them 5 stars for quality of the custard, friendly staff, and convenience.

I love Silky's and have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. My concretes always have been thoroughly mixed, which is important to me.

The Muddy Sneakers concrete is my absolute favorite. It is made with peanut butter, hot fudge and Reese's, and it's delightful. They also had a gooey butter cake concrete for a while that was phenomenal. I'm not sure if they still have it, but it was delicious with pecans.

Many of the other seasonal options they offer sound good, but Muddy Sneakers from their regular menu wins for me almost every time.
