Dr. Rauh was great. He always took the time to explain things. He would ask if I had any questions and was willing to take the time to answer those and was patient when I would ask for a clarification. I am glad I went to him for my shoulder surgery. If I had to do it over i would definately have him do it again.

Dr. Rauh was very professional. He did a great job on my rotator cuff surgery. He was very personable and informative and I would recommend him to anybody who needs orthopedic surgery.

My name is John Catalano my experience with Dr.Rauh was excellent he did rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. The surgery as I see it was a success. I have no more pain and mobility is better. At all my fpllow up visits he answered any and all questions I had. I would recommend his services to anyone who would need them.

I injured my shoulder at work and after doing physical therapy for a while my shoulder improved but I still had pain and weakness. Dr Rauh recommended surgery and I am so glad that I had him do it!

Today is the one year mark from surgery, I have been back to work unrestricted for 3 months and I feel amazing. It feels like I never had surgery it’s that good!

Dr. Rauh is the most amazing doctor ever. I have been a long time patient of his. He is very nice and very understanding. Dr. Rauh is very thorough and compassionate. I always feel he knows exactly how to treat my shoulders. I would recommend him to every single person I know. I am so glad I am under his care. He is one of my favorite doctors!!!

Dr Rauh has performed knee and shoulder surgery on me. He has a very down to earth personality and explains everything very well and provides great after surgery directions. I very much appreciated his honest answers and I am grateful for his skills. I have recovered fully from both surgeries and would highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Rauh entirely rehabilitated my right rotator cuff through PT and fixed my left rotator cuff through surgery. My recovery time was very quick, and I had no pain. I was told by my physical therapist that such a successful outcome is not typical for most surgeons, and though it was partially due to my youth and conditioning, it was mostly because Dr. Rauh's techniques are superb. He and his staff are entirely accommodating, very communicative, friendly, and professional. Dr. Rauh in particular was very good at explaining what my condition was before the surgery and what my options were. I've talked to many, many other people who have had this surgery performed by other surgeons and they suffered a great deal of pain and a long recovery. Though not everyone will likely enjoy the same results as I did, I was doing pretty much everything I did before the surgery within five months after the surgery. From what I've heard about many other such surgeries, you will not get these results from other surgeons. In short, I can't imagine a better outcome than what I experienced, and I don't believe you'll find a better surgeon in our area. Again, thank you so much Dr. Rauh!

Dr. Rauh and his staff are top notch, A#1, greatest group of people I have ever encountered in the medical profession. Dr. Rauh treated me and my family as if we were a part of his. I broke my collarbone (pretty bad) a few years back and needed surgery. Due to a holiday there were no doctors willing to fix it on the day that I needed so I would not miss a class I was in with my new job. I thought that I was going to have to miss work and fail out of a class that I was in… my new professional life that I was starting was OVER due to having to miss that class due to the surgery…. NOT on Dr. Rauh’s watch!!! He knew the predicament that I was in and proceeded to clear his schedule so that he could do the surgery for me, on a holiday, so that I did not miss class. I was almost in tears when his secretary called and gave me the good news and all she said was “Doctor doesn’t want you to fail out of class, he would do it for any of his patients, he believes we are all one big family.” Since fixing my collarbone, he has also fixed my shoulder along with my father-in-laws shoulder, three friends shoulders, a friends knee AND my 72 year old mother’ shattered her knee cap!! Everyone I send to “Doc” has been more than satisfied with the care that he and his staff provide. I cannot say enough, his practice is the GREATEST!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH Doc & Staff!!!

Dr. Rauh has been my doctor for years and his office typically provides treatment for both my knees. More recently, I had seriously damaged my shoulder requiring surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and tendons. As expected, Dr. Rauh did an excellent job of repairing the damage and all the follow up care was excellent. We had many conversations on post-op care and Dr. Rauh was always interested and receptive to information that can be passed on to other patients.

As a l am in law enforcement, my ability to perform all duties is especially critical. Dr. Rauh was open and honest with his opinion on when I was able to return to work. My care team involved Dr. Rauh's office and the UB Ortho physical therapists; collectively, we all worked to a common end that would allow me to return to work fully capable of executing all aspects of my job.

I would recommend UB Ortho to anyone needing any type of orthopedic care and more specifically, Dr. Rauh, to anyone needing care in his areas of expertise. He not only is a great doctor and surgeon but, on a more personal note, his concern for his patient's well being is always present and very much appreciated.

Dr. Rauh and his staff have been professional, extremely thorough, and a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Dr. Rauh was upfront with my options and gave me realistic expectations for surgery and recovery. Any questions I posed on my patient portal were quickly answered. And now I'm pain free with only a tiny, almost invisible, scar! I couldn't ask for anything more, highly recommended.

Dr. Rauh performed rotator cuff surgery on me last year. He was very professional, conscientious, and compassionate. He was very thorough in his explanation of what I should expect before, during and after the surgery. I am extremely happy with the outcome. Dr. Rauh also performed knee surgery on my son last year for an ACL tear and his outcome was very positive as well! Highly recommend Dr. Rauh!

My experience with Dr. Rauh and his staff was excellent. Rotator cuff surgery is certainly challenging and I struggled in the first several weeks. I was well informed as to the restrictions of the immobilizer. After that, it’s a matter of time, doing home exercises and physical therapy, to reach the my goal. I feel Dr. Rauh was supportive throughout the process. I am happy to say my surgery was a success and I look forward to returning to several sport activities.

Dr. Ruah is so amazing, he was my doctor/surgeon for my torn ACL and I can not recommend him enough. He is so very kind and did a great job on my knee it feels like new :)

Dr. Rauh is absolutely fantastic at what he does. He performed surgery on my knee over a year ago after a Grade 3 ACL tear and a partial meniscus tear. He answered all of my questions and has great bedside manner. I never once felt uncomfortable in his care. The surgery and recovery were without any complications and I am back to where I was before my injury. I could not have asked for a smoother procedure or a better outcome. Thank you Dr. Rauh!

Can't say enough about Dr Rauh's support. He had a fantastic way of explaining what's going on with my knee and talking the time to understand what getting back to 100% meant to me. Gave me options and educated me so I could make the right decision. My relief from a meniscus tear was almost immediate and I was on the slopes within 7 weeks!

Have had 2 opportunities to have Dr Rauh as my surgeon in the past decade. Always professional and straightforward with his patients. Offers options and does great work. Highly recommend. Thank you again.

Dr. Rauh and PA Talia are both great. I went into the office with severe pain in my shoulder and a MRI was ordered. Dr Rauh went over my MRI and said Rotator cuff surgery was needed to repair torn tendons. He very thoroughly explained what the surgery would entail and if there was any surprises once he got in he would take care of them and this is what he did. After having to repair my bicep , two completely torn tendons and remove a spur, I had physical therapy and now 10 months later I have almost complete full motion in my shoulder and I’m pain free. I did exactly what Dr. Rauh said to do and my physical therapist, it was hard work but well worth it to be out of pain now. Dr. Rauh is a very caring doctor excellent surgeon and I would certainly recommend him to anyone !! If in the future I have a problem I will certainly give his office a call and return to see him.
