West Town Bakery

West Town Bakery opened another location! They have branched out to the suburbs and created an awesome space with a connection to OKAY dispensary. This place is awesome. The bakery continues to impress and by the way has the most FABULOUS gluten free selections, I LOVE the cake balls! There is also a very cool inviting lounge attached to OKAY which I highly recommend visiting as well. Now I hear they are expanding and opening a new location in Evanston in early 2024, can't wait to see that. Nice job West Town, keep up the good work, I will see you soon!

Does not look like many people know about this place. Surprised it is so empty at happy hour every time we go. Happy hour 3-6pm everyday. Mushroom Focaccia was the best. Lot of bakery variety as well.

A coworker recommended this place and I’m glad she did! The staff was very nice and talked me through some of the menu items. I ordered a latte with cinnamon and a mushroom sandwich. Both were delicious. I sat in a booth to work and the staff came and checked on me every once in awhile. I went back and ordered a triple chocolate cake ball and it was phenomenal. They have all day appetizers as well as drinks, making it a trendy place.

I found this place through the too good to go app.I walked in and was warmly greeted and received my order. Wow I was delighted. The strawberry almond Danish was outstanding, I brought the rest of the pastries to my nursing staff the next day. The red velvet donut had high remarks, the savory bacon roll was split between two of them and they requested more. The other pastries were also well enjoyed. Can't wait to go back. Looks like a great place for happy hour.

Alittle intimidating walking in but was pleased to see a fun modern atmosphere! I received 2 donuts, a classic pink, and a crème brûlée wheelie and was blown away with both. Great prices too! I just moved away from the area but will be back when I visit home. The one suggestion it should be open at 7am for the morning rush. Other than that perfection!

Great staff and food. They have a large bar in the middle with booths and bar stools around the outside. Also a big patio for summer. We came for breakfast - they had coffee, tea, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches, muffins and donuts. Lots of cake balls. Cookies and cakes. For lunch they have sandwiches.

Friendly place for coffee. The desserts looked good but we didn't get any.

This is a shared building with a dispensary but they have separate spaces inside.

I haven't been to this new location yet but I've been making the hour+ drive to the original location a few times a year for the past decade. I've always hoped they would expand to the suburbs, and now they have. I couldn't be more excited! The cake balls are consistently the single greatest baked goods I've ever eaten and I have no doubt this new location will continue to deliver such exceptional quality food.

I've tried their walking tacos, several cake balls, The ham and cheese Danish, the tiramisu, cupcakes and everything was fantastic except the cake balls were kind of meh.

Great ambience, the dispensary next door has reasonable prices for most of their products, and the staff is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Really great venue with wonderful staff and delicious bakery. Definitely a go to hang out spot. Love the versatility of the bakery/drinks and then the shop right next door. Went during opening weekend and they had a lot of activities and showed us the ropes of how to order. Will be coming back!

Highly recommend! I have been following this bakery since The Bleeding Heart Bakery Days. So glad to see a location in the burbs! Looking forward to Happy Hour!

Been coming for coffee and pastries since they opened. The pastries selection is great and always fresh. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Will be back to try lunch.
