Great little downtown shop. You never know what you are going to find, which is really the fun part. The people there are fun and helpful. You can also bring in books that you are done with and get store credit for them. Stopping here is more than worth your time.

Great bookshop. The staff know where everything is so if you're looking for something specific let them know and they will help you find it. It is a general bookstore of all genres and has a little bit of everything. In my opinion the books are also priced right.

I love this second hand book store I’ve been going here since I was little with my parents and I’m turning 35 this year! They always seem to have the random books I’m looking for at fantastic prices!!

I originally went to look around and see if it lived up to the hype, but I left with a full bag and a new favorite place in town. The owners are the sweetest people on the planet, I’m convinced, and the selection of books is nearly unmatched. I had some trouble finding things at first, but I asked them if they had any of the books that I had on my TBR and they were able to find or get every. single. book. Just phenomenal. If you haven’t been you really must go.
(Side note: if you have any books you want to get rid of but can’t justify throwing away, they take books in exchange for store credit. They give so much more for them than any other store I’ve ever sold to.)

I absolutely adore this business and its treasure trove of literary offerings. It's is a pleasure to make the acquaintance of the enormously kind folks whom work there. A wonderful selection and very reasonable prices. The old bank building itself is remarkable to see. In closing, five stars doesn't seem fair when reviewing this establishment. This is a great unique book store with friendly helpful staff and reasonable prices. A large collection of books can be found in a maze of hallways and a bank vault room. Our family loves it!

One of the last remaining used books stores. Privately owned by a nice family. Offers teacher discounts. Chairs in every section for comfortable browsing. Can't find what you're looking for? They'll find it for you. Plan on an hour plus if you're a reading enthusiast. They take cash and cards.

This is a great local book store, the kind that are going away, the kind that are hard to find. I shop their travel book section and love it. I travel frequently and look for quality used books or guides for research. Sometimes I'll write ahead using Messenger (Facebook) to see if they have a particular book and they are always responsive, usually within a day. Quality used books at reasonable prices. I recommend this book store.

Amazing place, a real gem of Martinsburg. Great selection of books and great atmosphere. From now on its one of my most favorite places in downtown.

What a discovery! Hundreds (thousands?) of books are well organized and spread throughout a great old building. Bank Books is an amusement park for bibliophiles.
