The food tastes as great as it looks. Everything looks like it was just picked and cooked fresh. Large portions with plenty leftover for another meal.

Fantastic spot. Normally I would avoid restaurants in plazas but we decided to stop in for a quick bite. The menu had lots of great options without being too overwhelming. The prices were very fair and we got 2 appetizers and 2 entrées for less than $40 which blew my mind. The quality of the food was superb. We had huge portions of food and took home the extras and they made for great leftovers. The inside is nice and lends itself to being a welcoming lunch or dinner venue. All in all it was a great experience and I'm so glad we tried it on a whim because now I can say Maliwan Thai is my favorite restaurant in Essex!

The value you get is like no other Thai restaurant in Vermont. Would strongly recommend getting the crispy chicken option on the drunken noodles.

Absolutely delicious. We tasted six different dishes and enjoyed each for different reasons. The servers were polite and helpful and the food came out within reasonable time. I am happy that this is here now. Will definitively come back.

This place is amazing, we just moved to Vermont and def found our Thai spot :) the place so clean, staff is kind, the flavors are perfect and everything is cooked perfectly. Best dumplings I ever had!

I usually order takeout after a long shift at work, so this means I pick it up as their dinner service is winding down. My food has always been hot, ready, and oh so delicious! I appreciate that they put out a quality product even if my order is their last one of the night.

I got takeout at Maliwan Thai and the food was delicious! They have really fair prices and fast service. I highly recommend their panang curry, and the food was packed very well so it didn't spill over on my drive home. The whole family enjoyed their dishes and I will definitely be going there again

Authentic Thai food! At long last! Omg! This food was so good! 4 spice level is perfect for me! Very spicy! Very delicious! The massaman curry was so good! Great portions and I left with a full belly! I have never had such delicious thai food since I've lived here! Oh! And the price! Is great!

My family and I loved the food!!! Very delicious and flavorful. We asked for spicy and we actually got the food spicy. We ordered the pad kra pow, masuman curry, khao soi soup. Everything was Soo delicious. We're all definitely coming back. It's real authentic Thai food. I suggest this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat real Thai food.

We stopped in here for a quick bite to go. I ordered the chicken satay skewers and my wife got the Maple Moo Ping (pork skewers) and an order of sticky rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and our order was ready in just over 5 minutes! It was just what we needed and we’d love to come back and dine in!

Fantastic food! If you love flavorful and authentic thai food then definitely check Maliwan out. We had the Massaman Curry, Khao Soi noodles, and the chicken satay and they were all amazingly flavorful! You can also order with whatever spicyness level you want, so if you love spicy food then definitely visit this restaurant. The staff here was also very nice and friendly, the food portions were large, and the prices were affordable compared to other thai restauranta we've visited in the area. Maliwan is by far the best out all of the ones we've tried up here!

Easy 5 stars. The food tasted amazing and portion sizes were large. I was amazed with how well my take out order was packaged. That’s the small things that make the experience at this restaurant superb.

Best Thai food in the Burlington area. We ordered the fresh spring rolls, crispy chicken appetizer, pad see ew and salmon cashew special. They were all delicious! The portions are large as well, enough to have left overs. Service was a bit slow but that’s because they were so busy and it was worth the wait. Will definitely make a return trip here.

Some of the best Thai food my husband & I have ever had! We got drinks, two apps and two huge entrees for $55, which blew my mind. Everything had so much flavor and tasted super fresh. The restaurant itself was so clean & staff was wonderful. Will be returning next time we are in VT!

Maliwan is great. They have big portions, delicious food, easy parking. I love Thai food and this is my new go to spot!

Some of the best Thai food I've had in a long time. I had the basil duck and my wife had pad Thai, both were fantastic. Huge portions and was particularly impressed with how much duck came in my meal. Will definitely be making Maliwan a regular dinner spot.

I used to go to Joyce’s all the time and I was sad to see the place go, but after going to Maliwan, I am so so happy because everything is amazing about this place. The food is wonderful and the service is fast and kind. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.

The panang curry was SO velvety and delicious!!! Definitely in the top 5 meals I've had in the area!!
