Mon Ami Cafe

Mon Ami Cafe is such a cute spot. It's in a good location on Venice Ave but it's a hidden gem. Jo waited on us and she was very warm and friendly. She was very informative as to all the menus offers and answered my questions with ease.

The food has lots of flavor and is tasty.

I'll be back again to support this independent business and I will be bringing friends and family as well.

I'm excited to find a new favorite spot in town!!!

Homemade food and an adorable cafe! Came to here to study and was thrilled with how happy and warm the women working the counter was. Took her suggestions to get the sunny breakfast and tried a Turkish coffee! Can't wait to come back on a day when the weather is nicer so I can sit outside on the well decorated patio. Definitely feels like a mini vacation to some Mediterranean tropical cafe! 🏝☕🥐

Fantastic! This place was so nice, the woman behind the counter was our server and she was so nice, service was prompt and polite, and OMG the food... as delicious as it was beautiful. The waffles were a little dry, but the lox & Bagel was just perfect. Generous on the salmon and I loved being able to build it myself. Will definitely return next visit :)

Wonderful presentation and great attitude! We stopped by on short notice to order a brunch style catering for a small wedding with one day's notice. Everything was prepared with care and tasted great. Everyone was very happy with the food. Thank you!

This was our first visit to this cafe and everything about it was wonderful! The atmosphere is very relaxing and laid back. The food is flavorful with good portion size and gluten free options. The coffee is made to order and the water has a special touch of fresh lemon and mint leaf. Desserts are to die for. Jo was our waitress and she is great!! Very attentive, friendly, and goes the extra mile to make sure every need is met. You won’t be disappointed!!

Absolutely phenomenal meal!
The potatoes were my favorite. I was about to grab the salt shaker to add, but once the flavor hit my mouth, I was utterly surprised. Something as simple as potatoes, could taste so incredible. The croissant sandwich was no exception as well. Bacon was perfection, eggs with mozzarella, and a crispy croissant was just heaven.
To top it all off, the crepe… I felt I had died and gone to France. I haven’t had crepes like these since I was in Nice, France.
Every dollar I spent here I was more than happy to give. The ambiance is calm and cool. Out door sitting with little to no noise. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day. Something you only get to experience in movies. Today, I was able to have one, finished off with an espresso.

The outside view and inside comfort and decorations are inviting.
The patio is gorgeous.
The menu is outstanding. Turkish coffee ☕ was great. Caesar salad was delicious, crunchy and fresh with generous portion of shaved Parmesan and dressing.
My husband had great Ruben sandwich and fries.
We are highly recommending you to try their food.

Mon Ami is the best cafe in Venice FL!
The food was so yummy and amazingly tasteful! The staff was so attentive and friendly, and also accommodated out custom requests with no problem.
Can't wait to go back again!

This restaurant is within walking distance of where I live, so Dad and I did just that on Friday. My father loves soup and Mon Ami Cafe has the best. I had the lobster bisque with a pastrami reuben Dad had a 1/2 ham and cheese sandwich with splalinka??? Soup which had a little bit of everything in it. He LOVED the soup. We both highly recommend for lunch this quaint little Cafe in Venice FL. 8-11-23 Patti Highland was the live entertainment at Mon Ami Cafe tonight. There were 20 of us groupies that enjoyed the songs, food and evening. Thanks Jo who was our fine hardworking waitress

In my opinion, The best Breakfast place in Venice. We've been to most of them, and this is a hiiden gem of a place. Great food, generous and excellent presentation of food, very clean, and the nicest owner around.

My mother and I came in for a cup of coffee and a crepe. What a wonderful cafe! The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The crepes were amazing! We happened to look at their functions menu. Wow! The variety, the presentation, and the gourmet dishes that they feature are out of this world! Before we left, we planned my mom's 90th birthday party there. What an incredible experience. If in Venice, or nearby, Mon Ami Cafe is a must stop!!! Outstanding!

We visited Mon Ami Cafe while staying in Florida for vacation. Very nice ambiance. Outside sitting is very cozy and inviting. The food is delicious and the service is great. Would recommend to visit for tasty meal.

Lox croissant sandwich was fresh tasting with all the accompanying veggies. And the avocado chicken salad with crisp Romaine lettuce and tomato was equally satisfying. Highly recommend for delicious lunch

Beautiful space, very friendly staff. Crepe combo and waffles were delicious but not too heavy and our coffees were great!😊

Beautiful place, with beautifully presented food. Joe up front made our dining experience so much better. She truly cared to see how our food was tasting and was all around friendly.

Don’t miss this new kid on the block Mon Ami Café — a foodies dream cafe and bakery. Amazing options for breakfast, lunch, beach picnics, and afternoon tea. From crepes, croissant sandwiches and seven different homemade soups you will not be disappointed! Build your own or order off the menu. Do not skip dessert from amazing chocolate croissants, Homemade ice creams, Queen Cake, Ferrero Cake… and call ahead for their made to order fresh Vatrushka (farmers cheese with raisins).

What a wonderful new cafe in the heart of Venice, Fl. Stopped by and ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich with eggs cheese and bacon, the potatoes were really nice. Everything tasted super fresh and high quality. the best croissants iv ever had. highly recommend and i will be a regular.

Perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee whether you’re staying for a bite or taking to go. The staff are welcoming and helpful with pastry or food recommendations. The caramel latte was picture perfect and delicious! The cafe has beautiful outdoor seating and indoor has Parisian cafe vibes if you’re looking to cool off from the Florida sun.

What a great new local spot. I had latte which was fantastic and very aromatic. You can really taste the great coffee. Also had falafel with hummus to go. Im reall fan of falafel and this checked off all the right boxes. Full of flavor and spice while soft and crispy. Hummus was silky smooth and great together. you guys got me hooked, and will be seeing me more often. congrats on the opening and welcome the Venice community.
