I really enjoy good food, a friendly atmosphere, amazing people taking care of you, and affordable prices.. Uptown goes far above and beyond on all of these things.. will be back again for sure!!!

The hospitality and professional service was above my expectations! The quality of the food and the overall service experience was extraordinary. The restaurant was so clean and the waitresses were very welcoming and considerate to my daughter and my needs. I will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and I look forward to eating here more often.

Nice little diner in Ovid. Good sized breakfast and lunch menu with a couple of daily specials. Both of our meals were very satisfying. Our server was very attentive, even though the place was packed.

Super tasty food in a casual atmosphere with super friendly service. I got the biscuits and gravy and it was simply delightful. The restaurant is super cute and is situated in the middle of downtown right across from a historic courthouse! Definitely worth a visit.

While vacationing in the area, we stopped in this diner for breakfast. The food was good. The staff and other diners (some local) were all nice and friendly. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. My wife ordered the breakfast special, which resulted in her having leftovers, even though I ate her home fries (could have been a bit crispier, but that is just me). I had the Spanish Omelet, and it too was tasty and filling. The waitresses were very busy and hard working. They have lots of great food options here...

NEW OWNERS!!! Yahooo!! OK cute SMALL TOWN DINER!!! CLEAN!! Friendly!! As far as PRICES , to be honest I WAS expecting it to be expensive but HOLY COW !! ANYONE can afford to eat here EVERYDAY!! Please look at the servings!! They were HUGE!! So glad I gave it a try!!! Definitely will be back!!! I did not check for vegan or vegetarian choices which I usually do but if I could give 8 stars I would !! And I LOVE the wall of friends!

Located across from the Seneca County Historic Courthouse, this diner has very good food and very friendly staff. I’ve been in a few times now, and everyone is as courteous to me as they are to everyone else; and it seems they’ve known everyone else for years. Good menu variety. Pretty inexpensive considering the quality.

Wonderful diner to get breakfast or lunch. The food was great. I ordered the sausage and biscuits, and my wife ordered the veggie omelet and whole wheat toast. We were both very pleased with our breakfast. We will be back.

Stopped here to pick up some breakfast sandwiches before our drive home. What a great little Diner! Very friendly & welcoming! The sandwiches were delicious, coffee perfect & the homemade cinnamon doughnuts amazing!! Also bought 2 cookies for later, Cinnamon glazed & Lemon glazed, both Gluten & Dairy Free! A great small-town gem!

Their food was delicious, especially the strawberry stuffed French toast, their staff was super friendly and attentive despite being slammed. The pricing was fantastic. Then going into the women's restroom and the supplies/thought into who may use it and the needs. Love this place.

This is just a cute little dinner we found whilst in New York. Food here was very homestyle like and comforting also provided good options for vegetarian, dairy-intolerent, and gluten-free restrictions. The overall atmosphere we nice, as many locals visit this cafe and everyone was supper friendly!

A must stop! If you're looking for quality food and a family that genuinely cares about your meal, look no further! Their eggs are fresh and local. Their bacon is also from another local quality meat market. They sorce many of their ingredients locally and we enjoy seeing local supporting local.

If you have an opportunity to try one of their specials, our family highly recommends it. Soups are all homemade recipes. NEW breakfast all day, as such an added bonus. Love how they're open to feedback and as they learn, they're making changes to fit their customers.

You won't find a diner more happy to see you than this one! Their love for food and people is evident with every plate they serve. Come with great expectations and leave like the rest of us, full and happy. This is the best diner in the Finger lakes region.
