Batch Ice Cream Scoop Shop South Hadley

First of all - this is my favorite ice cream in the area. It’s the only one I buy in the grocery store. But this was my first time going to their shop. The ice cream of course was delicious! Especially the coconut almond joy flavor for me personally. The service was also phenomenal! The workers are really friendly and silly, and the whole experience really brightened my day!

The experience was wonderful. Very clean and bright place. The gentlemen that took my order was sooooo sweet and generous. My ice cream scoop was green tea and coconut joy with some strawberries and gummy bears toppings. It was delicious! 😘
Recommend this place. I will visit again in the near future.

I visited on a very hot summer day with my two young kids almost a year ago. The ice cream was great but the thing I most remember -and still think about now- is their hot fudge. I still think about that hot fudge. I remember they had some interesting flavors and the indoor air conditioned seating was a welcome relief on one of the hottest days of the year. My mom and I gave this place a try after visiting the Mt. Holyoke flower show, and am I glad we did! Batch's ice cream is head and shoulders above anything else in the area. They only use real ingredients with no artificial additives, and you can really taste the difference. The ice cream also isn't oversweetened like many are, so you can actually appreciate the flavors without being overwhelmed by sugar. I had ginger ice cream and my mom had green tea, and both were delicious. They also offer Harmony Springs sodas (a delicious local brand), which can be mixed into an ice-cream float if you want. They even have frozen dog treats so that your four-legged friend can enjoy a snack along with you. Next time you're in South Hadley and craving a frozen sweet treat, pop in here, you won't regret it!

The ice cream is awesome. The mango sorbet and ginger ice cream made us feel like we were back on St. Croix. We also loved the dark chocolate with Mexican chili pepper and Cinnamon which made us remember our time in Mexico. My kids loved the mocha chip and chocolate peanut butter. A bright colored ice cream shop on the main strip of The Village Commons. They feature locally made ice cream in popular flavors, and even a few unique creations.

Limited seating available for enjoying your treat. Looks like the shop gets pretty popular. When we left, three other groups had come in to get a scoop.

We’ve had batch from our local grocery store so we knew it would be delicious. Brought our 3 year old grandson on Saturday and he loved it. Great service, cozy storefront and of course the most delicious ice cream!!! So happy you opened in South Hadley!!!
