My husband and I recently got married at Running Deer on November 11th 2023. From the moment we first toured the venue all the way back in Jan 2021 we fell in love with the rustic feel and friendly team. Miranda, Katie, and Jessica were always quick to respond to any question or request during the planning process.

Fast forward to the wedding day and it was even more perfect than we could have ever imagined. The day ran smoothly, all of the decor was set up beautifully by Jessica N and team, guests were raving about the food and drinks all night.

Heather DeRosa was with us throughout the night and she anticipated every single thing. She kept us hydrated with ice water in plastic cups with lids to take on the dance floor, kept our plates and cups full of all of the yummy food and drinks, bustled and re-bustled my dress -even helped take my heels off at the end of the night! She really went above and beyond any and all expectations. I cannot thank her or the rest of the Running Deer team enough for making our day so special and amazing.

Also shoutout and thank you to our awesome bartenders Heather and Dominic who were so funny, not only did they work fast to make sure there was never a line at the bar but they entertained our guests with their awesome personalities.

We had our wedding at Running Deer Golf Club in June 2023 & it was the BEST day of our lives! If I could give Running Deer & their staff 500 stars I would. We didn't love the idea of a seated dinner, so they helped us throw the best cocktail reception with plenty of delicious food and so much time for dancing. Jessica, Kaitlyn & Heather are absolute angels and helped us throughout every second of the day. They even lint rolled some bugs off of my dress, lol we didn't even have a chance to be stressed because they handled everything so flawlessly. They set up our decor, moved some decorations and reminded me of plenty of things I would have forgotten day of. This venue looks like it should cost you a million bucks, but the best part is it is very reasonable and so accommodating. They had the most spacious and beautiful bride and groom suites, the cutest outdoor spaces and so much more. Don't think twice, Running Deer is the best. You won't be disappointed!

From the second we entered our tour, we knew Running Deer was where we wanted to get married. Every single thing was perfect, from the communication for our VERY LONG engagement, to the food tasting, our 3 month meeting, to even after our wedding. I am somewhat of a control freak, but i had no issues trusting Kaitlyn, Jessica, and the entire team at running deer to make our day beautiful. During our meal selection, Kaitlyn was honest in her thoughts and helped us create the most delicious cocktail hour- get the bacon wrapped dates- you WON'T regret it. The Asian bar, the mac n cheese bar, the walk around apps- people are RAVING about all of the food we had. NOTHING was bad. Our Fairy God Mother, Heather, was the LIGHT OF MY LIFE all day. She was always there with a new drink (and a sippy cup!!!!), running around to ensure my husband and I were having fun, and EVEN PUT MY SOCKS ON FOR ME EVEN WHEN I TOLD HER I WOULD DO IT!! She was nothing short of amazing, and my husband and I can't stop talking about her. The entire day was so smooth, even with a chance of rain. We also had our rehearsal brunch at Running Deer, and that was just as smooth as the day of our wedding. I CANNOT recommend Running Deer enough, and we are so grateful to have had our wedding here.

We had our wedding at Running Deer on June 17th and when I say that everything about the day was perfect I really do mean it. The team at Running Deer did the most incredible job making our wedding day everything that we had dreamed about and more. They really took our vision for the day and completely knocked it out of the park. Not a single thing went wrong from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everything ran so smoothly and our guests had so much fun that they are still raving about it. From the moment we stepped into Running Deer we knew it was going to be our place and everyone we worked with throughout the entire process was so lovely and professional.
We worked closely with Miranda and Kate from the beginning of the process through to the wedding day and they were so communicative and quick to respond and both incredibly kind and absolutely lovely people to work with. Jessica and Heather were with us every step of the way on the day off and they were both amazing. They anticipated every need and helped keep the day flowing smoothly so that we could just enjoy every moment of it. The wait staff and bartenders did an excellent job taking care of our guests and the food was incredible. Appetizer food has always been our favorite foods at every wedding and Running Deer absolutely crushed it. We couldn’t have been happier with how amazing our wedding at Running Deer was and we will be raving about it to anyone who will listen for the foreseeable future.

Our wedding at Running Deer was BEYOND our wildest dreams. Everything went absolutely perfectly. Miranda guided us through the process from our initial visit and tour, and was so friendly and helpful through the entire process. As the wedding came closer, we were working with Kate who was incredibly sweet and tolerant of all of my questions and emails. The day of our wedding Jess helped us through our morning and made us feel very welcome. After the ceremony we were helped by Heather who we are in awe of. She was on the ball with absolutely everything. I never expected to have so much amazing help on our wedding day. Every little thing one of our family members needed was almost anticipated by Heather before we could even ask. She truly was one of the highlights of our day by virtue of her making every single aspect of the day a breeze - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I am SO pleased with the service we received at Running Deer and will be raving about them to anyone who will listen for the foreseeable future!

I've Photographed many weddings and events here and I love it here! This is a great place to get married or host any event. The venue is stunning and the staff are so great to work with. I look forward to going back when I see my clients book their weddings here and you should certainly check it out if you are searching for a venue!

I was honored and privileged to attend a wedding here today, and the rehearsal dinner this past Thursday. I was immediately struck with how beautiful this venue is! The staff is not only very professional, but truly nice. The food was so much more than expected! Delicious beyond words, and plentiful. I am so happy for the new Mr & Mrs! Today was everything they hoped for! Just wonderful for them and all the guests!

Was here for my brother's wedding this past weekend. The grounds are beautiful and the inside venue was beautiful as well. The building itself is set far back down a residential street....feels like you are totally secluded when you are there. We had a great time and the staff was wonderful!

My Husband and I got married at Running Deer after having to postpone 2 times due to COVID. That being said, our wedding day was perfect. We felt like we were in our own little fairytale garden dream.

Miranda and Kaitlyn were so kind, caring, and understanding. From the moment we began planning our day they made us feel confident, that no matter what restrictions were in place, we would still have the wedding of our dreams. They helped us navigate all of the uncharted waters of planning a wedding during a pandemic and we most definitely couldn’t have done it without them.

For our wedding day, all the staff were so helpful and understanding. Food and service were excellent. Sarina and Sarah worked directly with my husband and I. They handle everything and anything we needed. They are the sweetest. Some of the best!

My Husband and I ultimately picked Running Deer because of their amazing staff and we are so glad that we did. I don’t think our day would have been the same without them by our side. We are forever grateful.

My wife and I had our wedding and Running Deer last weekend! From the beginning Katelyn was amazing with communicating, organizing, and making sure everything went smoothly! Even when we had to make the last minute change due to the weather.

It also can not go with out saying how incredible Heather Derosa was on our wedding day/night!! She was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect night. From refreshing our drinks, pinning my wife’s dress, cleaning my tux jacket and just being so thoughtful and caring to us. And so much more! None of which was asked of her. She just knew exactly what to do every step of the way! She made us feel like royalty! She honestly made our wedding so much more than we ever expected!

Your entire team was amazing, but you have real winners with both Katelyn and Heather. We could not thank them enough! I hope they both see this and know how grateful my wife and I are! Thank you both so much!!

My wedding at Running Deer Golf Club was absolute magic!
RDGC was the 3rd and final venue my now husband and I visited when looking for a venue. When we met with Miranda, she made us feel like she truly cared about our love story. When we left, I turned to my husband and said "I want it!"
Working with Miranda and Kate was an ease. They were both very helpful, friendly and always answered my (many) emails/questions. They understood my vision!
The day of my wedding was a dream!!! Our concierge Syndie was incredible!! She is so genuinely sweet and was always there to get us anything we needed. We had our ceremony at The Timbers (swoon!) then reception inside. All the food was delicious! Sydnie even made sure we had plenty of cocktail hour food on our table for us. All our family and friends have told us how much they loved our wedding, the grounds and the food! I can not thank Miranda, Kate, Sydnie and everyone at RDGC enough!! I can't help my get a tear in my eye writing this, you greatly helped us have our dream come true, wonderful, magical wedding day!! <3

Course was beautifully maintained, it's the offseason so there was a little course maintence going on while we were playing. The staff was super friendly from the moment we got there. They brought a cart to our car, pointed out the pro shop, got us checked in quick and we were off a little early. One of the more expensive rounds of golf that I have played, but it was worth it!

Went to a Wedding on Saturday, not only is the Placr Beautiful. The Service was Impeccable, from servers to the Concierge! I will Highly Recommend this Place!

Fabulous golf course. Enjoy the round then go into 7's Bar. You can't go wrong with the service and quality of the food. 5 Stars!

Nice well maintained golf course and facilities. One of the better Ron Jaworski course. Greens well protected with bunkers. Venue great for special events. Employees very attentive and helpful.

We chose this venue for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and our reception venue due to its rustic feel. This venue could not have been more perfect for us. The planning process was incredibly easy to do with Miranda and Kate. They would answer my countess emails in a timely manner and with specifics on what I was looking for. They were so accommodating with any changes we wanted to make to the menu or if we wanted to do anything to decor. While we are on the subject of food, WOW just wow. There was not a menu item I didn’t like. We chose a buffet for both rehearsal and wedding dinner and it was the best option for us because we were able to get the variety we were looking for. Kate jokingly said in our final planning appointment that if our guests leave hungry then that is their fault and that could not be further from the truth. There was SO MUCH FOOD. Our guests raved about our food. Even those who don’t typically like buffets were blown away. Finally, I want to talk about the day-of. At weddings I would attend, I would typically see the bride and groom never eat nor enjoy themselves due to being pulled in multiple directions. That was never the case for us. During cocktail hour our concierge (or our fairy godmother) set out plates of cocktail hour food for us to enjoy privately before we went to mingle. It was so nice to enjoy food together alone before we socialized. For dinner, we were sent into the buffet room to pick out what we wanted to eat and it was served to our table while everyone else went up to eat. While we were dancing or talking to people, our drinks were never, NEVER empty. There is one thing I would change and these things can easily be requested for future brides. Before the ceremony, we were in the ballroom while guests were in the bar next door waiting to be able to go to our ceremony. They could see us through the bar doors and the windows and I wish we were somewhere they couldn’t see us to get the wow factor when we walk down the aisle. Regardless, I have honestly been trying to convince future brides that I know to get married there because I want to go back as a guest!!

We recently had our wedding at Running Deer on may 21st of this year and i can’t thank them enough! The staff was so attentive preparing up to the wedding and even on the wedding day! Heather D was awesome she accommodated every need or worry and all of the other stuff including my favorite girl Jess! We’re nothing short of amazing!!! I have nothing but good things to say about this lovely place and i would recommend anyone to them that’s how awesome they were! I am truly thankful for all of the laughter and happiness i endured on our big day and with everyone helping us make it easier as well! Thank you so much running deer staff you were the absolute BEST!!!!

Eating at Running Deer and just being on the premises truly makes me happy. Who don’t love a fun and relaxed atmosphere with sports on TV and delicious appetizers like the nachos with chili in the picture included here?? Staff is excellent, drinks are smooth, and I will be back as many times as my bank account allows for!
