Blu In Cafe

We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a cafe during a camping trip to Ocotillo Wells, and it quickly became a highlight of our off-road adventures. The homey and delicious food made every visit a treat. What made it even better was the friendly atmosphere, especially seeing fellow off-roaders riding their side by sides to this unique spot. It truly adds to the charm of this off-the-beaten-path cafe. Can't wait to come back and enjoy both the food and the off-road community!

I want to first thank these guys for sponsoring events like the desert cleanups! This is what brought me here! The bacon chicken Swiss was great and so were the fries, better than i was expecting. Downside there was a bit of a line to order. I expected a tiny bit of wait for food but it was over 50min after ordering. Otherwise great experience and great food!

If you’re in the area this is a definite food stop. The owners don’t just serve the regular burgers and fry’s. They do smoked tri tip, pulled pork, carne asada burritos and more. We found the food excellent and the staff upbeat and very friendly. Expect a bit of a wait on a big holiday but just relax, it’s worth the wait.

Wasn't expecting much on our first visit, as the cafe is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! Christine runs the cafe, and clearly takes a lot of pride in the food she puts out. Everything is made from scratch, and she goes out of her way to ensure she gets the best meat and produce. While waiting for our order, we spoke with an older couple sitting next to us who told us they drive all the way out from Ramona several times a month just to eat breakfast there.

We ordered the breakfast burritos, and they were amazing. Some one else told us they serve a tri-tip sandwich for lunch that is killer. Seconds later, Christine brings us a couple slices of tri-tip to sample...delicious!

If you get out to Ocotillo Wells, do yourself a favor and grab some food at the Blu-Inn-Cafe...you wont be sorry.

Oh my word what a meal! I spent the whole day out riding ATVs and was pretty fatigued and needed a pick me up before heading home. The heavens opened up and showed me the light with the blu in cafe. I ordered the pulled pork with onion rings and a tri tip with fries. I am now a better man for eating their food. Absolute mouth melting pulled pork, with a toasted bun and with the perfect amount of barbecue sauce slathered on. The tri tip tickled my taste buds as well. The tri tip had the perfect smokey flavor and it danced its way down into my belly. I will definitely be back another day to fill my tummy up real soon. 10/10 would highly recommend

New owners are nice, I like the new additions to the menu. The carne asada burrito was good. Hopefully they will be successful in bringing back gasoline sells too.

Family owned and always greeted with a smile!! Great food and best homade milk shakes in a million mile radius!!!

Was close today but when open the burgers are great love eating here was sad it was close but I will catch it on way back.

The new owners are AMAZING and treat you like family! The tri-tip and carne asada were possibly the best I've ever had, the shakes are good too. We will definitly be back.

Stopped in and met the new owner's. Awesome people, that asked me to try the Carne Asada and Texas chilli both were amazing. Bring their food to the highest level. I will be back soon.

Excellent service, the food is delicious 😋 my favorite was the Zuchini Fries with the side of ranch and let me tell you the burger was super juicy it was like no other burger I've had, definitely we will be back this place its worth stopping by and trying them out.

Food was great. Jason was a pleasure to meet. They need our support. They are the only Cafe here let's help them and eat there.

The new owners are so nice. The new menu is great and everything we have had tasted great!!! Going back this weekend.

We really enjoyed hanging out here in between ATV outings. Food and drinks were exactly what we needed to get back out there!

Amazing food the pancakes are amazing loved worth stopping for it nice and close by Ocotillo we drove from our camp to here about 30 minutes totally recommend
