Matthews-Vu Medical Group (Woodmen)

Such a great staff here and they are so helpful and kind. They have helped our family for the last 4.5 years and we have never had billing mixups, rude medical staff, delays in service, etc. They are very smart, great bedside manner and offer actual treatments. I have an 8.5 year old so sickness runs through our house constantly and the urgent care here is hardly ever a waiting game. Gotta love good Western Medicine. Dr Rachel Wilneson and her team as super good.

The pediatricians are very kind to my kiddo, the urgent care staff, on the weekedsays, are the best we've ever experienced. Some nasayers have had unfortunate experiences but often times people have expectations that are out of touch with actual reality.

I called and spoke to Heather in your billing dept today and was so impressed with her customer service skills that I wanted to give her a pat on the back! She was professional, polite, eager to help, and was so cheerful that I could tell she liked her job and liked helping people. I'll give her the pat on the back and you give her a raise!

I came on here to leave a quick review after the service we received last night in Urgent Care. After reading some of the reviews, I feel compelled to go a little more in depth.
First by saying, these people are truly amazing and a wonderful gift to have. Every single one of them. Me, my husband, our 4 children and our parents have been coming to this location for a few years now. Unfortunately our family gets sick a lot (germy kids) and not once have we had a bad experience. Sometimes there's a wait, but it's Ugent Care. Although small, the office is warm and welcoming, especially how Jamie keeps it decorated throughout the year. The girls up front are always so kind, even funny. Again, Jamie goes above and beyond. Today I witnessed her busting her butt without batting an eye. It was super busy and she was alone taking care of all patients checking in and out, answering the phones, cleaning rooms, answering questions and even kept my toddler busy so I could go to the bathroom with my other child. She is here every single time we come in, and being able to always see a familiar face is such a comfort (turn over downstairs in their family practice is ridiculous). Mikayla the MA got us started, shes new but you would never know it because of how great she is. We usually see a MA named Ashley but she wasn't in. But I wanted to include her as well. She's absolutely phenomenal!! Earlier in the day we saw Haylie Law PA (amazing little lady with a heart bigger than her) and had to come back tonight with another child and we saw Alison Ismail PA (also amazing and so smart). We've seen PA Paul (kids like to call him Dr Paul) , PA Anneliese and Dr West. All of them are just great!!! Such a good crew they have here! And that's why my whole family comes!! I recommend them to any and everyone I can. It's definitely hard finding good people and Matthews Vu is darn lucky to have them!!!! If it was in my power, I'd give them all bonuses!!! Seriously, they all deserve it! In my opinion, it's this Urgent Care that's keeping the whole Matthews Vu practice together!

My experience with Dr. Adam Robinson and NP Tracy Henley has been outstanding. Amazing medical care and personal attention, such as I have not experienced in the 73 years I have been seeing doctors. I highly recommend these two!

We have zero complaints. From the office crew, to the nurses, to Dr Kim we LOVE this practice. My kids go to the doctor often and we’ve always had excellent service.

Staff and providers are kind and thoughtful, particularly Janelle, who is also one of the most beautiful individuals on the planet.

She remembers you and what's going on and is always connected in a way that doesn't feel forced.

I was hesitant to make an appointment here because of these reviews but this place came highly recommended by other mothers and I’m so grateful I took my kids here. It was honestly the first time in 4 years with two kids that I felt like a doctor truly cared to know everything and took the time to ask all the questions. He didn’t rush us out of there, he didn’t hesitate to get my son referrals for his delays. Will definitely keep bringing my children here and would recommend to other parents to do the same. The nursing staff was amazing as well!

Today was my first time coming to this place for a 3D mammogram. I was nervous because of my previous experiences at other locations. The machine was very easy, and quick, and did not hurt like in other places. The staff is very nice, professional and knowledgeable. The tech is amazing, friendly, caring, and knows what she is doing. My husband even liked the friendliness and professionalism of the receptionist since he waited for me in the lobby. I definitely recommend.

I have a doctor and a podiatrist in one medical group. Both are fantastic. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Got an appointment for my wife. I’m sticking with Matthew’s-Vu.

I can not thank that staff enough for helping me out! I am currently enrolling my daughter into daycare and the daycare informed me that she was “missing” a shot and that they couldn’t register her without it. I took he records to Pediatrics and not only did they confirm she was NOT missing her shot they updated all her shots and gave me a print out. Then proceeded to go one step further and complete the paperwork the daycare required. They were extremely helpful and got me taken care of right away!

Janie was so wonderful! She was kind, professional, friendly, and so very informative. I lost my mother to breast cancer almost 9 years ago, and I felt like she was a true advocate for women and women’s health. I don’t think I’ve felt so comfortable at an appointment like this. I’m incredibly impressed and will be referring every woman I know to this clinic and to Janie. ❤🙏

Janie in mammography was INCREDIBLE! First time for my exam and I got both education and 'comfort'. It never hurt. I'm glad it's not my mom's experience- I went kinda mortified based on the stories I heard. I highly recommend making appointments now, before word gets out about how great of experience it is...

The Urgent Care operation has yielded two amazingly Positive experiences. Two young female PA's have been Brilliant! Simply Brilliant - Comprehensive - highly Competent - and Caring. The overall Practice is a failure, Dangerously so; and the Google Ratings reflect this utter failure.
But the Urgent Care has been remarkably effective! So I am disturbed to provide this five star Rating. But brilliance must be rewarded. Thank you Physician Assistant Ladies !!! You are truly assisting Patients, and this struggling Practice ...

Ok from someone who has gone to a different Matthews-Vu location and gave it 0 stars for the rude front desk workers multiple times (×3 visits)....this place and this visit was PERFECT. Basically how you would expect your appointments to go. Respectful front desk, smooth process, great doctor (Lorie Warren) who LISTENED to issues and didn't argue or fight back but instead asked for CLARIFICATION!!! We understand most doctors dont understand the physical effects/longterm effects of truama so finding a doc that does is such a blessing. We got our referrals and orders sent out that we've been waiting for for almost a year since our last doc left the practice. Thank you Thank you THANK YOU for being amazing!! (I forgot to mention they were willing to see both my husband and I at the same time <3 This means so much to us thank you!)

Very friendly staff, lots of smiles. Informative and interactive. I did not feel like I was being rushed out the door for asking too many questions about my health, and they did NOT make me feel like I was wasting their time. Incredibly refreshing in this day and age

I have been coming to M-V since 2012. I've always been treated with respect and care by staff and physicians. I've been pleasantly surprised at how the staff greets the nasty people who are impatient and overly demanding. I have the utmost respect for M-V folks and the medical care is old-fashioned passion for the patient. Dedication to the patient seems to be a must for folks working here. Love it!

I've been a patient at Matthews-Vu for almost 4 years now. I've had my share of different doctors and NP's. For the last year I've been seeing Mrs. Patrice Kiesling and her team
They treat me with the most professional experience. She took the time to hear and discuss my situation and provlems. Iam very pleased and thankful for taking care of me. When I had an issue they took care of it as soon as they could.

I typically see a doctor through them on Rockrimmon, however I needed to be seen outside of typical office hours so I tried out the urgent care. I wish I would have known about this sooner! I have been sick so many times this year and have had terrible experiences with “the Little Clinic” and such.
That being said, I saw Paul last night. From beginning to end, the experience was pleasant and fast. I had no wait and they respected my concerns. Paul came in and listened to what I had to say and aggressively treated my sinus infection that was on day 11. I am already leaps and bounds from where I was even yesterday thanks to him and his staff! Also, I had confirmation the prescription was sent over in my hand before I even left the building and was able to swing by the pharmacy and pick it up on my way home. It seems they were rough in the past, but to me it looks like they have worked hard to improve!

I saw a new doctor that apparently has joined the clinic named Patrice Kiesling. She is outstanding! This Dr. is unbelievably positive and nice, accommodating, a great listener and for the first time in MONTHS I slept over 6 hours last night! You can tell she loves and values her job and patients. I hope she never leaves the practice because she will forever be imprinted in my mind for her kindness to myself and my husband. When people are having severe pain, love and understanding is all we need and she’s good at it, really good.

Update: She is leaving and I am very nervous to start with someone new. I am hoping the referral they were nice enough to put in is okay. I was very surprised that I just couldn’t switch doctors and was given a list. Nonetheless, I’ll really miss this office and the staff. I read the bad reviews and I never experienced one unprofessional staff member and it was always clean. Everyone was so nice. I’ll miss them all. :(
