Very disappointed with Poughkeepsie city police . As a business owner came to them asking for help do to an incident . People call for a food delivery and when my driver got there they just took the food and refused to pay and closed the door. I personally when to de police station and explain everything to the officer and he said I don’t think we have nobody available to go there and also we can knock the door.😡,, i got so frustrated because small business try to di things right help the community and this is how we get treated. Because this little things police let it happen its why criminals keeps doing it ,, very disappointed and frustrated. Plus i was the one interrogate 😡

Some of the most condescending rude and I unhelpful police I have ever met. They are absolutely useless. I ask them to patrol my disgusting neighborhood and they won’t even get out of the car. God forbid you have a domestic issue all they say is go to family court. These police are pathetic

ON MARCH 22 I WAS HIT FROM BEHIND WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO CHANGE, GOT OUT TO LOOK AT DAMAGES AND TOLD THE PERSON TO PULL OVER BUT SHE TOOK OFF AS I WAS TRYING TO PULL OVER!! I FOLLOWED HER AND GOT THE PLATE NUMBER AND CALLED THE CITY POUGHKEEPSIE POLICE WHILE FOLLOWING HER. I WAS TOLD TO STOP FOLLOWING HER AND COME TO THE STATION OK I DID.. HERE ITS APRIL 26 AND THE REPORT IT JUST BEING PUSH THROUGH CAUSE I KEPT CALLING FOR LAST 2 DAYS CAUSE MY INSURANCE COMPANY COULDNT GET THE REPORT CAUSE THEY AINT DOING THERE JOB!! OVER A MONTH AGO AND WHEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE BOSS BOTH DAYS I CALLED I COULD NEVER SPEAK WITH THE BOSS😤🤬
