Turlock Comics

I started out as a customer. I initially came here after a store in Modesto had said the comic I ordered wasn't out yet and I had "ordered it too late" so I would never get it despite it only being ordered because the guy offered the service to begin with.

Turlock Comics had it on the shelf. Thus for 2 years I've bought all my comic and gaming stuff here.

About a year ago I started helping out at the shop as well. Kyle and Joey have always treated us so well and it's awesome to be involved with a store and a gaming community as a whole.

Rarely have I walked into a place and been immediately captured by the atmosphere, environment and staff. First visit of many to come. Pokemon for sale in every corner, hidden in plain sight and waiting to be found. A pull game for Pokemon slabs that I literally cannot wait to play again. Kyle your store and you were unforgettable. It always bums me out to see fake negative reviews left for any store especially this one. Especially when some of them literally came from someone who got kicked out for shoplifting.

I will tell you if you come to this store you will find a store filled to the brim with comics (back issues and new books) you'll find hundreds of decently priced funkos. (Some are even buy 2 get 1 free) You'll find every tcg represented including my favorite the new star wars unlimited which they host every Friday night.

You'll find great people working there. Whether it's the two owners who are Vets. Or the other couple who fills in for them on occasion.

You'll find great people gaming. Commander players, star wars players, tabletop RPG and board game players.

As a dude who has lived in Turlock my whole life I've heard people say "man I wish not just comics didn't close or I wish we had a good comic store" now we do. So what are you waiting for come down and join the fun

Best store in town for gaming by far.

I checked out the other store in town and they don't have lorcana championships or star wars championships. These guys do and out of the stuff I've attended I've ate free twice. Dinner and entertainment can't beat that

Not to mention the husband and wife I've seen working there on weekends have been nothing short of wonderfully kind to us. A welcome change from other gaming stores around.

I've been going to comic stores in the Valley since the 80s and this the only one I can remember that has had celebrity signings. Seriously, Lou freaking Ferrigno the original hulk was here and now they've got a red power ranger coming in a couple days.

So if you're into new comics, old comics, graded comics, cheap comics, expensive comics, funkos, rc cars, everything in gaming from magic to people playing power rangers DnD this is the shop to go to.

Top notch store and top notch people

Turlock Comics is great! From comics, to collectibles, to table-top and card games... It's very nice to finally have a Local Game Store that is actually local to Turlock and surrounding area residents. The owners are very knowledgeable, inclusive and supportive of many different games and people. The atmosphere is fantastic. Their displays are always getting better, their inventory expanding and their TV always has something interesting playing in the background. If you are looking for a gift for a special person in your life, or looking for a new hobby, or just looking for some community to be a part of, I highly recommend you start here.

The people here are cool and down to earth people. Made a purchase from them a few weeks ago and was immediately greeted by staff who knew comics and nerd stuff im a way that was approachable and helpful for newcomers. Especially since I was just stopping in from out of town. When I had an issue with one of my products the owner reached out personally to rectify the situation and went above and beyond to solve the issue over a phone call.

Will be stopping by again in the future and worth the couple hour drive.

Helpful and great people behind the counter! Store looks great and has a vast selection of various items and collectibles. Would recommend if you’re searching for something for your child or a nice read. Plenty of comics and card options. Overall great business, go check em out!

Awesome shop for new comic and Pop collectors like me! They have a great gaming space too! The owners are wonderful humans who make everyone feel welcome and are always happy to chat about movies, superheroes or whatever! It's great to have this super cool veteran owned shop in town.

A great, small comics, cards, and gaming store in Turlock with a very friendly staff and a good selection of merchandise. Comics, Magic, Pokemon, action figures, Warhammer, RC cars, just an amazing assortment of cool stuff. Recommended!

Very nice shop. I went in the first week it was opened. The staff was very friendly and I got to talk to the owner also. Excellent comic collection, with new and old comics. They also sell POP figures and some board games. Thanks for the great experience. Randy R.

So darn cool to have a business like this open in Turlock! Awesome selection of graded collectibles, singles, funko pops, comics and more! There’s something magical about seeing slabbed Pokémon bangers in a glass case. There were some stellar hits at great prices when we went! The folks running the shop are incredibly friendly and wonderful too! Will definitely be making frequent trips! :)

A HUGE selection of comics! Very friendly and they also have space to game in the back. Will definitely be coming back.

Very welcoming and nice staff!! A great day place for people who are into the hobby of collecting trading cards, comics and collectibles! Also they have am area for those who want to play Magic, Pokemon, ect.

The staff are really friendly and fun to talk too. Whenever a new IDW Sonic comic gets released, I head over to get the latest issue and check if there any other issues or manga I want to buy as well. Glad that Turlock finally has a comic shop of its own.

The owner is so dedicated and experienced with comics, the effort he displays is so evident when it comes to the quality of the store and the whole environment is so welcoming!

Amazing customer service! Loved the selection and price range; there's something for everyone. I also thought the board games were super cool. Can't wait to see what's out next :)
