The Red Barn at Outlook Farm

Words cannot describe how amazing the Red Barn was – from the beautiful holiday decorations, to the incredibly accommodating staff, wait staff and bartenders, and who could forget Emily! Leading up to the day and the day of, Emily and the Red Barn team made us feel so special and accommodate our every request. Emily even offered to run to the grocery store to pick something up the day before!!! She is literally so, so amazing, along with everyone at the Red Barn! My husband and I will never forget how truly incredible this venue was, and we will recommend The Red Barn to anyone looking to have the wedding of their dreams!!

We cannot say enough about how perfect this venue was. We had initially found out about this place through The Knot, and despite being a little further away from the Greater Boston area, decided to give this place a try and do a walkthrough. The staff was very professional and accommodating from the initial email to the visit. They showed us everything about their beautiful venue and nearby rentals for the wedding party and guests to consider. Even though it was our first venue visit, my wife and I were so impressed that we could not even consider booking anywhere else! Throughout the planning process, we worked with Emily, one of the on-site wedding planners/coordinators. We could not have been more impressed and stress-free with the amazing work that she and the staff at the venue provided to us and our friends and family during our wedding night. From ensuring that my wife and I were provided with quality, excellent service, fantastic food and staff, and beautiful comments from the guests and family about everything, we will forever be thankful that we went with this amazing venue for our day-to-remember.

If you are looking for an elegant barn wedding in southern Maine/New Hampshire, the Red Barn has to be on your list to check out! The beautiful post and beam barn is unique to the seacoast, the views over the golf course are completely unique in this area. On top of all of that, the staff at the Red Barn know how to host a wedding! You'll be in great hands all throughout your day. A seacoast favorite, and one of my favorite venues to photograph, definitely look at The Red Barn if you're planning a wedding in the area!

Since the beginning, I knew I wanted to get married at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm. I grew up vacationing in Maine every summer, so it was only fitting to share my love of the state with my now-husband. We toured a few venues, but none compared to the Red Barn! The barn complimented our warm, fall-vibe wedding perfectly, and it was the perfect size for our 135 guests. We could fit twelve tables, one head table for 12 people, and the DJ Booth while still leaving a large section of the ballroom open for dancing. We also loved the separate cocktail hour space in the atrium, and the exterior veranda was equipped with heaters during the chilly fall night!

Throughout the process, my husband and I were well taken care of, and the staff, especially our coordinator Emily Francoeur (who is quite literally the best person ever), helped us every step of the way. I was so nervous leading up to the day; however, Emily always eased my worries and provided great suggestions, and my questions never went unanswered! Huge shout out to Emily for making the wedding day so stress-free for my husband and me!

We got married at the Red Barn at Outlook farm in November of 2021 and I still dream of my wedding day. From the food to the views everything was just perfect. The staff was absolutely incredible, every staff member went above and beyond to make my day as special as it was. Now lets talk about the food - amazing, the NY strip melt in your mouth, the broccoli cheddar chicken rolotini- so so so tender. Appetizers were also delicious. We couldn't be happier with our choice to get married at the Red Barn and have recommended it to all our friends and family. Thank you so much

My husband and I got married at the Red Barn in May 2023 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue, staff and entire process! From our first meeting to it all coming together day of, it was seamless, stress free and absolutely beautiful! We worked with Emily as our planner and she made sure every detail was covered. Our friends and family RAVED not only about how beautiful the Red Barn is but about Emily specifically, how she was so attentive, friendly and supportive. We also used several of the Red Barn's recommended vendors for our flowers, cake, DJ and transportation, which was an excellent decision, as not only were all of the vendors excellent, but we never had to worry about any planning or coordination day of, Emily had it all covered. If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue with a great outdoor space and a stress free planning process, I can't recommend the Red Barn highly enough!

Booking the Red Barn at Outlook Farm for our July 2022 wedding was hands down the easiest decision to make and most definitely the BEST decision we made. From start to finish, from the very first time we viewed the venue, until months later- our wedding was seamless, amazing, and most importantly, stress free.

The Red Barn was the first venue we looked at. We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony, outdoor space for cocktail hour, and a beautiful, big room. The Red Barn checked all the boxes. We put down our deposit the very next day as we knew this was a venue we did not want to sleep on!

Planning was SO easy and straightforward. As soon as we booked, we got set up with the amazing Alex, who was going to be our day of coordinator. She was communicative, helpful, and patient. She responded quickly to every annoying query I had, she kept us updated with our timeline of planning, and she was understanding when oopsie- we missed the tasting we were supposed to go to. She graciously set us up at the next one with no questions or drama.

The planning process was very smooth due to Alex’s expertise. The rehearsal was stress free and straightforward. The day of our wedding was more than we could ask for. Literally everything went to plan due to Alex being so on top of everything. She was kind to the many personalities in both of our families and felt more like a friend to us by the end of night.

I cannot say enough good things about the Red Barn as a venue for a wedding. It is absolutely gorgeous, I feel like we did not need too many decorations as the venue itself is stunning. The food was delicious! During cocktail hour, it felt like there were so many servers with so much food, on top of the stunning cheese and fruit display. The kitchen was also very helpful and sensitive to the allergies in our group- one being my husband who had a nut allergy. The drinks and bartenders were fabulous- we told Alex that our group drank a lot of espresso martinis and the bartenders were ready when we started ordering them. AND they were delicious to boot. The staff was fabulous! All of the servers were professional and personable. The price for everything and the many options for food and drink were well suited to many budgets.

I could gush for many more paragraphs about how amazing this venue is. Alex and the crew have made the Red Barn into a well-oiled machine. I cannot say anything bad about our experience and I know I can attribute that to them. Our guests are still talking about our venue months later. If you want to have the most amazing wedding day at a beautiful venue with wonderful people, do yourself a favor and book the Red Barn. You will not regret it.

We had our wedding NYE 2023 and had the absolute pleasure of working with Emily at The Red Barn! She was always available to bounce ideas off of months before the wedding and days before she was my main girl working with all the vendors to make sure set up was seamless! The weekend of our wedding she made me feel so calm and that she had everything handled and under control from the rehearsal to the very last second of our wedding! SHE IS AMAZING! She was so attentive to us and the bridal party all night making sure we had all the snacks and drinks that we needed. Not only was Emily an absolute dream to work with but the entire staff at The Red Barn and The Stage House Inn were so easy and great to work with!

Our entire bridal party and immediate family stayed at both The Stage House Inn and The Nealley House which was so convenient and fun to have everybody so close all weekend! Both places were very clean and a beautiful spot for getting ready/bridal party photos! Check-in was easy for all guests and we were able to place welcome bags in all the rooms before guests arrived, which was an added treat.

I would recommend these venues over and over again!

We had our wedding at the Red Barn in October of 2022 and it was one of the best decisions we've made. This was largely due to the wedding coordinator provided through the venue, Emily Francoeur, who went above and beyond from start to finish. Emily is undoubtedly the reason everything went so smoothly. Food quality was great, beverage packages were reasonable, and the space comfortably fit about 180 of us. We also booked fireworks through a recommended vendor of the venue and it was the highlight of the night. We rented out the Stage House Inn which is an affiliate to the Red Barn and that made our wedding weekend so special. All of the staff at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm were so pleasant, and we will miss working with Emily so much!

Choosing the Red Barn at Outlook Farms for our wedding venue was quite possibly the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue is beautiful, very accommodating, and the staff is fantastic (looking at you Moe 😍). The Red Barn gave us much needed peace of mind during the planning process and provided an amazing wedding day for both our guests and ourselves.

That being said, our venue coordinator Alex was our favorite part of the Red Barn. I cannot say enough great things about her. She was always there if we had questions during the planning process, she had great suggestions if we needed help, and she had plenty of experience to guide us through the wedding day. She knew the things my bride and I needed before we even knew ourselves! Alex was always pleasant and always communicating with us. I really don't know if we would have made it through the planning or the actual wedding day without her.

We would 100% recommend the Red Barn to any couples out there considering this venue. We had a great wedding day and any small issues that popped up (unrelated to the venue) were smoothed over by their great staff. The Red Barn is beautiful inside and out. We could not have asked for a better place to get married and celebrate with our family, friends, and their staff!

The entire staff was absolutely amazing, especially our wedding coordinator, Emily. We can’t thank Emily enough for all of her hard work, organization, communication, and making us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond the whole day including being quick to help fix my bustle when it came undone without even asking. Everyone kept complimenting on how great she was, the staff, venue, food, ceremony, and of course the fireworks to end an amazing night! The bridal party also stayed at the new Nealley house, which was beautiful and a great space to get ready at prior to the wedding. The groom’s side played golf at Outlook Golf Course in the morning and had a great time as well. Overall, we had such a great experience at the Red Barn and would highly recommend as a wedding venue!

Amazing views and epic sunsets!!! This venue is a photographers dream.Inside and out. So many great places to photograph your clients. The food was just amazing. They even had Fenway Station as everyone left. Every detail was perfect. Highly recommend having a wedding here!

Such a gorgeous venue! We had a winter wedding and everything about the planning process was so easy with their wedding coordination team. We also appreciated that all/most of the charges were all rolled into one price up front so there really weren’t any surprises. It was also great to not even need to hire additional vendors since most of what you’d need was included in their services- definitely a money saver.

We got married at the Red Barn in June of 2023 and could not have had a better experience. As was the case with almost every summer weekend in New England this year, it ended up raining on our wedding day. We had planned to get married in the garden but our coordinator, Emily, and the entire staff at the Red Barn were extremely accommodating and allowed us to make the last minute call to move everything inside. Not only were they extremely flexible, Emily was calm, cool, and collected and made sure I wasn't stressed out about the change of plans. She expertly moved out outdoor floral arrangements inside on the mantel of the fireplace and everything looked so beautiful. Besides her attentiveness on the day-of, she was extremely helpful in the months leading up to the wedding--meeting with us a couple of times to go over every single detail and answering any other questions promptly. We didn't hire a wedding planner but Emily was so helpful that I really didn't need one. The entire staff at the Red Barn was also incredible (special shout out to Mo who made sure my husband and I got some appetizers during the cocktail hour and packed up the extra cake so we had some to take home!). The venue is absolutely beautiful, inside and out, and our guests all had such an incredible time. We also rented out the Stage House Inn which was absolutely lovely. Tegan and Gary went above and beyond to make sure we, and our guests, had everything we needed. I cannot recommend both The Red Barn and the Stage House Inn enough!

Absolute perfection! That’s the best way to summarize our wedding at the Red Barn. It exceeded our expectations. From the very first time we stepped inside, we could see our dream wedding coming to life. It’s breathtakingly beautiful, the food was delicious, and we loved that there was space for every type of wedding guest.
Alex was BEYOND incredible and executed our vision better than we ever could have imagined!! She was so supportive, flexible, and a calming presence throughout the planning process. She did an excellent job communicating with our guests and vendors to ensure things ran smoothly and checked in with us multiple times throughout the night to see how we were doing.
Every single staff member was kind, thoughtful, and professional. When we went through our photo booth guestbook, we found such a sweet surprise: the last page was a picture from the staff with their well wishes. We cannot say enough positive things about our entire experience and recommend the Red Barn to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Our wedding at the Red Barn couldn't have been more perfect! From the start, Lisa was very helpful and extremely communicative with all of our questions. Our wedding coordinator Alex was the BEST! She made planning the wedding a breeze and fun. We had no worries the day of because we knew she was on top of everything. The venue and food were amazing and everyone we worked with was so nice.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue!! The venue itself is beautiful, elegant and stunning. Emily is also AMAZING! She made our dream wedding come to life and created a very stress free, absolutely perfect day. We did not have to worry about anything. Emily was always on top of things and if there were any problems we didn’t hear about them until later or after they had been resolved. Emily truly made us feel like family and we cannot thank her or recommend her enough!! All of our vendors loved working with the red barn and Emily. We also stayed at the Stage House Inn associated with the Red Barn and it was stunning. They were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are amazing and the bridal suite is perfect. We had our rehearsal there and there was more than enough food. We love everything about these two places!!!

I was engaged December of 2019, shortly thereafter I went to visit The Red Barn and WOW, I walked out knowing that’s where I wanted to get married! We booked our date and off we went. Fast forward to meeting my day of coordinator, Emily, from day one she always kept me informed and didn’t make me feel like I was bothering her with my millions of questions. Now here we are at the start of a global pandemic, I was freaking out, she kept me calm and assured me we would figure it out and gave me multiple dates when we would check in and reevaluate what was going on. The days leading to the wedding day were more stressful than ever, global pandemic, and wedding planning, add in my anxiety we have a recipe for disaster! Emily made sure I felt 1000% confident and made my day perfect! Our guests raved about the venue and the food, such a beautiful place to be married. I truly don’t think the day could have run smoother, she truly made me so comfortable and confident, when I walked in my jaw DROPPED, the place the decor was perfect. I love, love, love The Red Barn at Outlook Farm! I just got married this past weekend and when I say it was the best day of my life, I truly mean it. I've had a vision about how I wanted my wedding to be, look, feel, and everything else for so long and I don't think it would have been possible if I hadn't chosen The Red Barn. I wanted a rustic yet elegant wedding for awhile and this location gives you just that. I'm so lucky I came across it online and after taking a tour of it, I knew immediately I had to book it. In fact, I didn't even bother looking anywhere else. It was perfect. The timeless yet modern elegance of the woodwork, the decor, the stone fireplaces, the beautiful veranda, the high ceilings that go on forever adorned with charming chandeliers - the place speaks for itself. It comes complete with two full bars, beautiful and clean bathrooms, a bridal suite, and both indoor and outdoor space for your ceremony. I had my ceremony inside and the speed at which the staff flipped the room during cocktail hour to transform it into an amazing space for my reception was unreal. The property is so beautiful and gave us so many backdrops for stunning photos. The food is top notch, the staff is impeccable in everything they do, they're professional yet fun and sweet. I cannot say enough about Alli Bicknell; she's one of two coordinators that you're given when you book the venue. The level of organization and knowledge that she has is impressive. She was AMAZING. I could contact her about anything, being the crazy stressed bride I was, and she was so responsive, sweet, positive, and most of all, patient. She never once made me feel like I was a burden, a bother, or ridiculous in any of my questions or concerns. She had all of the timing and coordination with the vendors nailed down and she allowed for my wedding day itself to flow so smoothly without a hitch. I felt like I connected with her so much and she was such an important part of my day. I'm so happy I was paired with her and got to share my experiences with her because not only is she incredible at her job, she makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. It was as though I had a best friend there guiding me every step of the way. She is truly skilled and perfect at what she does. I had the best experience at Red Barn, from my wedding day itself to my meeting with Alli, to our food tasting, our initial tour, our rehearsal, and everything in-between. They really think of everything and make your wedding day easy and exactly as you want it. It's a beautiful place in every way imaginable.

We recently held our daughter’s wedding at the red barn.it was perfect! The venue is gorgeous, and the food was excellent. Colleen was a super coordinator, thought of everything and let us enjoy the party without stress. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. Nothing was left to chance! A great time and wonderful memories!
