Walked in got us straight to our seats. Took our seat, waiter came over got our drinks. He was really nice ,ask us about everything (Do you need more sauce,is your food good,and you need a drink.) He took our order,didn't take long to get there. The food was amazing and great prices!!!

The food was great! They start you off with the table salsa and chips, and the flavor of the salsa is fresh and appealing. The food was delicious and hot from the kitchen. The staff were very attentive and pleasant!

My first time coming to this location. I have been to the Branson, West location. I loved the food, the staff and the inviting atmosphere.

Ever since moving to the area, we've been searching for the best Mexican food restaurant. We've got our favorites, and they will continue to be in rotation, but El Lago is really tops. They bring you complimentary chips and salsa, of course; the chips are beautifully thin and delicate and the salsa was so good, I ordered a container to take home with me! My husband ordered the Chimichanga Fajita (cheese sauce on the side - I never heard of cheese sauce on a Chimichanga until moving to the Midwest) and ordered the Nachos Fajita. I have never had a better plate of nachos. Both were so flavorful, I wish my camera could capture it. We will be coming back!

Come here for tasty Mexican meals! We had been to the original El Lago in Branson West which is incredible, and this new location in Branson, just off of Hwy 65, is equally good. Friendly service, and we were seated quickly. Extensive menu of items, and if you can visit for a later lunch (1:30 or 2?) you can avoid more crowds. Our drinks and food arrived quickly too, and at good temperatures.
Enjoyed salsa of varying degrees of heat (had to ask for anything above mild) with freshly made chips (although a lot of small fragments of chips in basket). Beans and rice were warm, comforting and delicious. Adequate portions of beef in tacos with lettuce, tomato, onion, shredded cheese and delicious, fresh guacamole. Chile Relleno also highly recommended.
Can't wait to eat here again! Affordable, delicious food at a convenient location away from busy Branson strip.

Oh my gosh Branson need El Lago we have been eating at their Branson west location for years. They can accommodate Large party’s or a small table. Service is still great and the food is amazing. If you like Margaritas this is your place. Check out there flight of margaritas great price you will need to share it, it’s so big!

Great restaurant. Generous portions. Light, crispy chips. It's my favorite place to be on Tuesdays! Taco Tuesday include hard or soft, beef or chicken with plenty of meat and cheese

If you're coming to branson this is a must stop... Price was good it wasn't normal tourist prices..the food was Excellent.. What more can you ask?

The service was quick and polite. The music was fun and festive. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! We ordered dips, tacos, and entrées and it was all the best. We ordered extra food so we could have leftovers from lunch. The leftovers were just as good as when it was freshly made. My husband loved his Ruben plate and I loved the Mariachi plate. We will be back!!!!

Great service, super thick salsa, large portions

Was my husband's 70th birthday and we wanted to try this new restaurant. So glad we did. Everything was delicious and the margaritas were perfect. My husband got the chimichanga, and I had the steak, shrimp, and chicken fajitas. Service was spectacular. Will eat here again!

This place is what you want when you're in Branson and want Mexican food. It's certainly the American friendly variety, but it's delicious. The service is also incredible. Fast and super friendly. The inside is huge, so if you have a big group they should be more accommodating than most Branson locations. Will definitely be back.

It's hard finding a good Mexican restaurant around Branson, but El Lago is it! Fast service, authentic Mexican food. Huge selection. And very reasonable price! They do serve street tacos as a meal & sell the average tacos separately. They have different specials to keep the day of the week interesting.

I've been here several times now and was impressed by the flavor and portion size of the food. Their white cheese dip is amazing and I love their enchiladas. Highly recommend the food here.

This place is amazing food and service. We learned of it from the brothers restaurant in Willard Mo “El Venero”. Super cool and well decorated atmosphere. Not too expensive, restaurants at the landing that night had over and hour wait. But here we walked right in.

El Lago has a few locations in the area and this location is the largest. We went here with a group of 10 and got setting right away. The service was friendly and everyone got there food in a reasonable time. The food portions are good. We will go back.

This is by far my favorite place to eat!! The food and the service is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I really enjoy the chips and salsa the chips are thin and crispy they practically melt in your mouth as well as the rest of the food!!!
