Wonderful atmosphere, gift shops and game room also conveniently located inside the same building, so you have something to do if you have to wait for a table. Menu has a good selection and the food is great!

McFarlain's is a local restaurant that should be a must on your list. The restaurant from the outside is nicely themed to the area. The service was phenomenal as the waitress didn't miss a beat. They start you with the Honey Cornbread, which is amazing. We had the fried chicken and pot roast. Unfortunately we were so hungry and it looked and tasted so good we forgot to take a photo. The food tasted just like mom would cook. It was tender, hot, and cooked to perfection. We were full but couldn't pass up the fresh baked pies and cobblers that make fresh daily. We had the peach cobbler made with fresh, not canned, peaches as well as the chocolate cream pie. Both were fantastic. I can't say enough positive things about our visit today. Not one negative thing to say. Highly recommend that if you're in Branson, you make McFarlain's one of your dining choices.

We arrived here thirty minutes before closing, cutting it close, but hostess and waitress were nice as could be and promptly sat us down.
We found what we wanted on the menu and before you knew it we were being served. I got a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries while the wife ordered a BLT which she said was one of the best she has ever had. Our friend ordered fried chicken, a portion he had to bring some home, while his wife ordered a BLY as well.
We ordered, ate, and was out the door by 8:05. It was a nice dinner and we were not rushed or anything.

McFarlain's Family Restaurant is a staple here in Branson. The year of 2023 celebrates 30 years of wonderful service

Boy was it good. The service was great and the special table was an added comical hit.

The place takes you back a bit to how Branson got started. I have always liked it here.

Wonderful gift 🎁 shops on site and an IMAX movie 🎥 screen is right near door

There is even a few videogames for the kids to enjoy.

Clean restrooms with handicap accessibility.

First off, our server, Lindsay, was a joy! She answered all of our questions and was so personable. She really made us feel welcomed.Our appetizer was fried green tomatoes and we ordered the fried chicken and the meatloaf. No disappointments. The portions were large enough to take some with you for tomorrow's lunch! The chicken was so juicy and the meatloaf was actually meat, not filler. I wish I had that honey cornbread recipe... We WILL come back.

Didn't look like my kind of place, but the dish I had was delicious. And for those wondering the entrance is inside the main building which is entered under the awning.also, the cornbread is surprisingly good (sweet).

I had the Bacon Cheese Fries. Fries, Bacon, Cheese and some kind of Alfredo sauce. Awesome with ranch.

My brother-in-law had the Papas Nachos and loved it as well.

My wife had the deep fried fish, and although she liked it, the rest of us did not. (Very fishy)

Service was excellent. Drinks stayed filled, and the server was polite.

Excellent meal and service. When they say get the fried chicken they mean it. It was awesome!!! And the cornbread was superb. They were right on top of everything and answered all our questions with our any complaints. I am done here at least once or twice a year. I will definitely make this one of my main places to eat. And you should too!!! Ask for Lindsay. She will trat you right!!!

Fried Green Tomatoes are only good with Homemade Buttermilk Ranch and BOY if you are a Ranch lover come here!
Food really was fantastic, service was Eh. Had to ask to warm up the corn bread. Server took it back, warmed it back up then forgot to bring it back. When we asked about they brought it back, cold again.😂
Also… we didn’t get our drinks refilled. The food was amazing! The service was lacking. I still tipped over 20% though.

Yummy to my tummy is an understatement 😮‍💨 Their cornbread and portions are insane! So much flavor and options to choose from! Go there pronto! 🫡

My husband and I visited McFarlain's Family Restaurant for the first time this past weekend. We were delightfully impressed with the cozy and friendly atmosphere where we enjoyed a scrumptious meal in a booth that made us feel as though we had plenty of privacy to laugh and talk over dinner. Our server, Reece, kept our drinks full and checked on us throughout our time there. We also enjoyed browsing through the small shops in the little mall area outside the restaurant.
Overall, the atmosphere was cheerful and comfortable. I look forward to visiting again.

Such a delicious place. Cornbread was like eating dessert. The sweet butter is a favorite. This was our first time and we were not disappointed. They are big enough to accommodate with shorter wait times than other places. So good. Can't wait to go back! My eggs Benedict over crab cakes is really good. My first time to have it. This is a lot of food. So you could definitely share a plate with somebody. My husband's pot roast was super tender. I got the peach cobbler. He got the Coconut cream pie. Neither one were our favorites. It's definitely worth eating there. I already want more!

Alex was an amazing server who not only energetically seated our party of 10, but also provided outstanding customer service. Our food was hot, fresh, and super yummy. Alex especially made our experience enjoyable by singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with the group, and cracked corny, fun jokes which delighted us all, especially our kids. McFarlain's is awesome and Alex is a jewel!

First of all, this restaurant is inside the mall/theater; park in front and use the main entrance. The restaurant is back a bit and to the right and well worth searching for. Once there, the service is great and the food is delicious.

If you are looking for great food and even better service this is the place to go. Alex our server was very attentive during a busy time and short staffed. His food recommendations were spot on. From the corn bread to the fried green tomatoes to the fried chicken to all the sides it was all amazing!!!

Alex was a great waiter, he kept us entertained and recommended great food! We had a special birthday and we were blessed with celebrating at the rising table! If you can ask for Alex, you will thoroughly enjoy your visit!!

Great food. Excellent service by Alex who was personal and funny. We had a delicious meal and plenty of options to choose from. The turn around time from ordering food to having it served was quick and accurate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious dinner of fried chicken (half a chicken), Southern-style green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. We took the other half home for another meal. For dessert, we ordered homemade pie with ice cream. Excellent! We highly recommend McFarlain's Restaurant!

Shared earlier. Food was fantastic. It was busy very busy. Portions small price high but the food was good. I had a bowl of veggie soup and a bit of cornbread was 15. The rest of our party had a whole meal and theres was very good.
