I did a photoshoot with my dog and was so happy with the results! Chung was very kind, professional, and fun to work with. The whole process was a breeze from scheduling a date and time for the photoshoot to selecting the final photos. I am very pleased and highly recommend booking with him!

Chung is the best there is! He is kind, patient, and extremely skilled. He first gets to know you to understand exactly what you're looking for, and he will make sure you get the right shot! His knowledge of lighting and angles is second to none. Chung is easily the best photographer I've encountered, and I will definitely be working with him again.

I had won a free session from a Baby Fair back in Dec/2019, but due to the pandemic, we kept rescheduling month after month. And finally, July 2020, regulations eased up and we got our session. Even if the session was not free, it would've definitely been worth the price, seeing as how professional and experienced Chung is. Our little guy was already 6 months old, and he was not very patient with how we needed him to pose, but Chung was very patient and worked with us to get the best shots! His studio is equipped with lots of nice backdrops and props to chose from to suit your looks and needs. I would highly recommend his studio to any of my friends and family!

Chung took some family photos for us as well as pictures of our 9 month old. We were really excited coming in, as he did our wedding and we know the quality of his work is wonderful!

He's got a nice studio, bright, clean, and comfortable. He's got a great eye for photos and isn't afraid to ask you to move this way or that to get an even better looking shot. Chung is really detail oriented and his passion to get great photos definitely shows in his energy and enthusiasm!

Our baby was getting a little tired (bad timing on our behalf) when Chung started to take her pictures and we were a little worried about how they might turn out, but Chung was able to reach into his bag of tricks to get our baby to have some good shots! Very pleased with Chung's work, you will be as well!

We hired Chung for our engagement and wedding day photos back in 2015 so it's only natural that we came back to him for family photos once he opened up this studio in Burlingame. Since we had two kids, a 3.5 year old daughter and a 13 month old son, we weren't too sure how photos would turn out since they both have the attention span of a goldfish. Nevertheless, Chung was able to keep them engaged long enough with various tactics and some M&M minis to get a few decent shots in. We even went across the street to get some outdoors shots as the kids started to get cranky about being indoors. All told, Chung captured some fabulous shots and we walked away from the 1.5hr session ordering 8 photos for a very decent price. If you’re ever in the area and need studio portraits, Chung is your guy.

What a fun experience! We were the winners of the ‘Pets of the Month’ contest so the sitting fee was waived and we receive a matted 7” x 10” photo from our sitting.
To start, I received an email after entering their contest. The email contained Chung’s phone number to set up a phone consultation. I texted and we set a phone call to chat about what to expect in our session (what to wear, timing, etc.). Chung had us go onto their online booking site to select a time. We knew we wanted the option to go outside and they reserve the 4pm time slot for outside sessions. We booked our session and got ourselves ready.
A couple weeks later we arrived for our appointment with cheese for the dogs, gummy bears for the kids and all of us dressed in our best.
Chung and Linda greeted us and got started straight away. They started us in the studio to loosen up the kids (ages 6 & 3.5) and the dogs (both young pups) and then added my husband and I in. After about 40 minutes we headed outside to shoot out at their great outdoor spot across the street from their studio. Amazingly the dogs, kids and ourselves managed to make it through the hour and a half and no one really melted down. I credit Linda and Chung with keeping the kids engaged and having fun!
A week later we went back to the studio and viewed the amazing photos! There were so many great ones and Linda did a great job capturing our personalities, especially of the kids. We had a hard time narrowing down the 120 photos to just a handful but we did.
We had such a great experience and would highly recommend Beauty and the Cutie for family (pets included) photography!

My fiancé and his family decided to take a family portrait at The beauty and the cutie. They have great customer service, Chung the photographer was very patient. it was our first time taking a family photo. Chung gave us many suggestions to what angle is best for us to stand. The best part we like is that the studio offer many backdrops and props to chose for best results. I recommend this company to whomever want to take family photos, they even offer portraits with your fur baby “ pets” . Thank you so much for taking our photos @ cutie and the beauty.

We had a family portrait done with Chung at Beauty and the Cutie last week. It was so good! Chung spent time making sure our poses looked great, took various poses with and without grandparents, kids, etc. He was really attentive and he has a great eye. The studio is nice too- bright and clean and has a variety of back drops. He was so patient with us looking at the photos, as well. He printed out a couple of our photos so that we could get an idea of how they would look printed and matted, which was a really nice touch. His pricelist is good – competitive prices, and very affordable for the really great work he does. My family definitely plans to be back in the future for photos!

We had a great experience with our pet session. We had two dogs so it was chaotic but Chung was very patient. The photos are great and will be a memorable keepsake for years to come.

Chung was super friendly and professional. He studio is very nice and he was willing to work with me when I wanted to try several different outfits for my headshot. He sat me down and really listened to what I was looking for before we got started. He had the digital photo ready in a very short time. Would definitely go again!

It was a very pleasant experience to have my graduation photos taken here. I was a little nervous because I've never worked with a professional photographer before, but Chung provided me with all the necessary information (what to expect, how to prepare, etc) before the day of the appointment via a simple phone call. He was very accomodating and friendly during the actual session, and made sure all the poses and backdrops were working well to match the outfits I brought. By the end, the nerves were completely gone and I was very pleased with how each of the photos turned out; I had a very difficult time narrowing down which ones to choose for the final prints.

The customer service was great, the studio is a very clean and comfortable space to be in, and most importantly, the photos themselves turned out amazing. We will definitely be going back to Beauty and the Cutie for future photos, and would highly recommend here for anyone looking to get their photos taken!

Probably the best photographer I have worked with hands down. (And I have done a ton of photoshoots for various projects before)

I was looking for someone to take photos of my newborn baby, Chung was able to get me in within a week notice, took the time, care and patience with my baby throughout the entire shoot.

Needless to say, the photos came out great, super classic, and everyone loved them!

Chung is great! He was in constant communication with me before our shoot because we wanted outdoor photos but wasn't sure about rain. We ended up getting some great shots outdoors, right across the street in the trees, before the sprinkles came and also got some nice ones indoor. We were even able to take a look at the photos right after to choose our package.

He was very professional and wore his face mask the entire time. His studio had a bunch of antibacterial stuff around (sanitizer, wipes, lysol spray).

He also does pets. We didn't bring our dog because it's hard enough with 2 little ones, but I think it's awesome that he includes all family members!

I can't wait to get our final prints!
