Casa Fuentes Mexican Restaurant

We stopped here for a late lunch when we arrived in Branson. We had seen the place on previous visits but never had opportunity until now.
The first thing one noticed is it is small; a very small restaurant in a town full of gigantic dining places.
The second thing, at least on our visit, was the waiter. He was engaging, helpful, and entertaining. The service was fast and in no time we had our food.
The place was clean, a few chips were spilled on the floor by one table but were cleaned up while we were there. Everyone in the place enjoyed their food and banter with the waiter.
The food was tasty, the salsa the best I tasted in the last three states.

Very clean and great service 👌. Our server was super sweet and friendly. 😃 Chips and salsa were yummy... 🌶 Stelly ordered the Flautas, (her favorite) and Blazer ordered the Burrito 🌯 (it was smothered with chz- we weren't fans of that) but Blaze ate it... & Wero had the fajitas. I love chips and salsa so I ordered the guacamole 🥑 for my meal... Stelly was disappointed with the Flautas, they had tomatoes 🍅 in the chicken 🐔 mix 🙁. So we ended up ordering a side of rice and beans and I ate her meal! Yummy 😋 I enjoyed them!

And the Server was great, very friendly, very sweet.
The chips and salsa were great!
Food came out very fast and freshly made, and hot off the stove.
Highly highly highly recommend.
And I got a regular Margarita on the rocks. It was perfect!

The food was amazing, the service was even better! They treated my father (who has dementia) with so much respect ♥ I will definitely be back here next time we're in Branson.

I haven’t a clue what people are talking about in small portions. My husband and I had nachos, he had nachos con queso I had macho nachos and when we got our Kate’s it was way too much food. We could have split one nacho plate. Excellent food, good service and super friendly! Picture included is my hand next to the player, big plate of nachos!

This restaurant has been here forever, and it's for a good reason! The food was AMAZING! Then even have a delicious lime margarita. If you like Mexican food, I would recommend stopping here!

Love this place! A must eat at restaurant every time we visit Branson for over 20+ years! Family owned. Owner was our server. We always order the Verde enchiladas (3) which come with rice and beans and chips and salsa.

My wife and I stopped for lunch and to sate our appetite for Mexican food. Best decision all weekend! The food was delicious with generous portions. Service was pleasant with quick order delivery to table. Menu clearly denotes GF and Vegan choices. Prices are reasonable and a welcome change from the other outrageuos-priced restaurants in Branson. Highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing the people are nice and it wasn't too loud or too quiet, food came out in about 5 minutes after I ordered and was amazing

We had the gringas and the enchiladas verde's. Both were great (Gringas were delicious) and the chips and salsa were also wonderful. It was served fast by a friendly waiter. We will eat here when we visit branson again.

no lie this place is amazing I've never had service like I had in this place and the food was great the margarita kicks i mean it's got legs for days so delicious the place is small but it's like a food truck good with indoor seating an absolute best definitely a favorite place if you decide to go no regrets enjoy and your welcome

Had an amazing time! They have incredible food and an even better staff. Went with a group of 6 and everyone couldn’t believe how good their meals were and saying how it was the best they ever had. They were so nice and very accommodating, best service I’ve had in a while. If I could rate it higher I would because it is truly the best Mexican restaurant in Missouri.

Amazing service and amazing food. Stopped 3 times here on our honeymoon to Branson. Small space with big flavor.

Great service by Cheyenne, Best Margaritas in town…or anywhere! Good food, reasonably priced. Outdoor patio too! We met Manuel, the owner who was as friendly and informative as could be. All in all we vote Casa Fuentes as the best Mexican restaurant in town

Great spot and very welcoming. Terrific food, service and drinks and the atmosphere was really cool as well. The margaritas were delicious and the food definitely delivered. I had the chicken chimichanga and my husband had the Fuentes burrito, which he ate all of. Mine was also delicious but now I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. First time visiting and we will be back!

I have been dining at Casa Fuentes since they first opened their doors over a quarter of a century ago. I have NEVER had a meal that wasn't hot and delicious, service that wasn't efficient and friendly, or any experience that was less than perfectly enjoyable. It is a cozy room, and parking can be a little daunting when it's busy (it is very often!) but that's never a deal-breaker. The family who has owned and operated it from the beginning are to a person professional, friendly, kind and CARING about the entire experience for diners there. No matter who is working on any given day, you know they care about every aspect of your experience in their casa, which they make sure to let you know is your casa too. I am proud to know them and always happy to visit. ANY menu item is a winner, I assure you... but I especially love their gringas... muy delicioso. ¡Gracias amigos y amigas!

I haven't been here since the late nineties so I decided to give it a shot this trip. It's still family owned by the same family and the food is still very good. I live in Texas and have access to very high quality texmex food and this was on par with anything I have had in Texas. The chips and tortillas are good but not spectacular. The salsa is flavorful without being too spicy. The tacos and enchiladas are excellent but the two amazing things we had were the carnitas which were seasoned to perfection and tender but crispy on the outside. So good. And the tamales... I enjoy tamales (usually from the tamale guy on the corner down the street from my house) but I have to say these were the best tamales I have ever had. The perfect ratio of masa to filling and the pork and green chilies filling was so flavorful. You get three to an order and they are huge. Hard to eat all three. I highly recommend. Best Mexican food in Branson! A few caveats: there is very limited seating. So pick your times carefully. They do have a patio out back but it was too hot to sit outside today. Also not much parking but the food is worth the wait if you have to. If you want to support a family owned local business and have some great food. Then this needs to be on your list of places to eat in Branson!
