Wow, wow, wow!!! Just had their special soup and a long Island iced tea. Both were fantastic. I cook at home and cook well which makes going out to eat hard. I didn't have to season, the soup was full of flavor and so delicious!!! I give this pub a 5 star which I rarely do. Great job. Service was excellent as well.

We had a great stay at the Ye Old Inn. The dinner our first night was great!! My husband had the pork chop and I had the chicken.
The bar had a nice drink menu my husband and I tried a handful of during our stay.
The room was clean I like the old time bath tub. The bed was very comfy and was not to cold with the blankets provided. Watching the train go by outside the window was a plus for us.

This was a quaint, wonderful little place that I will make it a point to come back to again and again. Loved my little room (in the wing), the lounge, where you could just sit and read a book or visit with others staying the night. The FOOD at the pub below, was FABULOUS. I loved that it was NOT right in Branson.

Great atmosphere of Old England. Love the decor and mystery. Supposedly is haunted by ghosts. The original owner Mr Johnson and a little girl. We luckily didn’t see either! Comfortable beds & clean rooms. Also has a restaurant adjoining the inn. Also has a train depot across the street. Great value for the room , it was under $100! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing weekend getaway! The room was clean and adorable. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We especially had a great experience with Abbi at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back!

Experiencing the enchantment of Ye Old English Inn was an absolute delight that left us captivated from the moment we stepped through its charming doors. Our weekend stay at this remarkable establishment was nothing short of exceptional.

As soon as we entered the inn, we were greeted with a sense of elegance. The historic ambiance was beautifully preserved, allowing us to immerse ourselves in a bygone era, while still enjoying all the modern comforts and amenities one could wish for. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, and it truly felt like we had stepped into a picturesque English countryside retreat.

Our room was a true sanctuary, offering a blend of classic charm and contemporary convenience. The attention paid to maintaining the inn's historical character while providing all the modern comforts was remarkable. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the room's cleanliness was impeccable.

One of the highlights of our stay was the lively bar and restaurant located downstairs. The cozy ambiance, complete with rustic wooden beams, set the stage for a memorable evening. The flavors were simply wonderful. The staff at the bar/restaurant were not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making thoughtful recommendations that further enhanced our dining (and drinking 😄) experience.

Throughout our stay, the staff at Ye Old English Inn demonstrated an exceptional level of hospitality that added an extra layer of warmth to our visit. From the moment we checked in, they were accommodating and approachable, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their friendly demeanor made us feel like valued guests, and any request or inquiry was met with a genuine desire to assist.

Another aspect that stood out was the location of the inn. Nestled amidst the picturesque countryside, we were treated to breathtaking views of rolling hills and verdant landscapes. It was a welcome respite from every day life, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation.

In conclusion, our weekend at Ye Old English Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From the ambiance and decor that exuded classic English charm to the sumptuous dining experience and the warmth of the staff, every aspect of our stay was praiseworthy. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a memorable escape to a bygone era with all the comforts of the present. We are already planning our return to this idyllic haven, and I can't wait to relive the magic of Ye Old English Inn.

The building itself is charming. Our room was clean, comfortable and incredibly quiet. We thought the price to be reasonable. The staff was very professional and friendly. We are very glad we stayed here and hope to return another time.

Cute and very clean, quiet and quaint hotel in Hollister. We’ve stayed here twice. The Downing Street Tap House restaurant next door is delicious and convenient. There are several shops, breweries and coffee places near by too. Oh and they sent us this sweet thank you card for staying.

We stay a full month in October, at various places. Reading reviews on “no children” has made me decide I WILL be staying here!!!

As far as the restaurant, it’s a favorite although I have had some bad meals there, I love the ambiance.

Good Hotel to stay and experience the old style living. Since, it's built in 1912, the amenities were not like the modern hotel rooms. But the staff is friendly and nice. We liked the restaurant & bar at the hotel, nice music. Most of the attractions in Branson are in proximity of 3-4 miles from this hotel. Would love to stay again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the stays. Unique motif, modest, but very adequate accommodations. Wonderfully friendly staff, and a great restaurant attached. I will be staying there again.

Charming and handsome all at once! My hubby and I had lunch here. We grabbed a drink from the bar while we waited for a table and sat on the comfiest couch ever! The genuinely kind host sat us at our table and we were waited on quickly. The food was perfect and delicious. Today we had the poutine and the reuben sandwich with chips. Enough for 2 to share easily. This restaurant is beautiful, a lovely place to stop for a meal. We will be coming back next time we are in Branson to try more of the food!!

Did not stay as hotel guest but popped in to relax by the fire and grab a drink in the pub! It’s really cute and carries out the theme/style throughout. Everyone working was really nice!

If you want a cozy place to stay while in Hollister or Branson, I recommend this place.
It's old and a little worn, but the British feel is there. The staff are so pleasant. Just the perfect place.

The place took me back to the three years in my youth I spent in England. It reminds me of a place called Pike's Eel Inn. It is so quaint and absolutely lovely. The staff treat you like their own family and are completely accommodating. The room was tiny, but SPOTLESS! It served the purpose we needed. We had to leave before the restaurant opened, but certainly want to try it next time and there will be a next time. This is my new go-to hotel in Branson. Love it!

Ended up finding this Inn as a result of an adjacent eatery being unexpectedly closed. We only stopped in to dine and that turned out to be a real plus. Interesting décor, filling food and very friendly help. Civilized patrons in an authentic pub atmosphere with proper beverages and a great music mix.

We had such a magical time here. First, the place has an awesome history. This historic building was made in the early 1900s and it still has that special feel. Did you know President Truman was said to have stayed here? Anyway, staff was extremely accommodating and very welcoming. To top it off, there is an excellent pub connected to the building. I highly recommend the sheppards pie. If you are down visiting Branson, I highly recommend staying. I definitely plan on coming back.
