We took our fourth-grade students here as an end-of-year treat after we rode on the Ohio/Erie Canal. Elaine and Derick were SO hospitable and the parlor was so adorable. In fact, they were so kind and the place was so cute that I thought we had been transported back to the 1950's. ;-) Elaine shut down the place for about an hour for our large group (of 10 year old girls), and she even allowed our students to have a Taylor Swift Impromptu Dance Party!

This is the kind of mom-and-pop shop that is sadly dying out of our society as corporate stores increase. Please support Scoops! You won't be sorry you did.

This is the second time I've been here, and it is wonderful. The staff is friendly. The ice cream was great. I loved the style and atmosphere of the place. Everyone needs to try it out at least once. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Randomly saw a lunch special on Facebook - and decided to give this place a try. Let me tell you, sure glad I did! For $10 I got a bowl of soup, half sandwich and ice cream.

The soup was probably the best I have ever had.

The gentleman who whipped it up for me, made great conversation and an amazing sandwich.

Will be back! 10/10 recommend.

i love this place it is my go to every time and they tend to have new flavors a lot. the service is great and everything tastes amazing. my only complaint is they recently stopped serving strawberry and my friend only like strawberry so we kinda can’t go anymore🤦‍♀
