Great access to the mountain

Quality accommodations, but heavily marked up for the location as you might expect. Breakfast was disappointingly basic, but the spa room was worth visiting more than once while we were there. I also appreciated the convenience of being able to walk everywhere at the resort once we checked in.

So, so dated. No mini fridge in the rooms...

Food was good, service was slow and seemed disjointed.

There are no skiing storage or drying room facilities available. There is no way to dry out clothes over night, so be prepared to ski in wet clothes.

There are no USB ports available in the room, and they try to charge money for charging at the front desk ( no usb dongles for sale either). Any nice place we stay at has ports available.

This location for the Black Bear Lodge is absolutely misleading. It is south, NOT IN TOWN. You have to take a shuttle. Other than that, it's like an old motel out of Twin Peaks. I would forgive all it's many sins, if it were not for the fact we were lead to believe it was "right on the slopes." But alas, don't be like us and do your proper research.

I would not recommend staying here. The rooms were very musty and the hotel is in disrepair. The staff was very nice and tried to be accommodating.
