Georgie's Wine Shop and Bar

My favorite wine bar in Boston! I have never had a wine here that I didn’t love. Everyone that works here is super knowledgable (including Georgie should you get the pleasure to meet her!)
I especially recommend coming for one of their events or a Friday for their fine Fridays! Excellent selection and a perfect location- only complaint is they aren’t open on weekends!

Georgie’s is the best wine bar in Boston. Selection is unmatched. Staff is friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Georgie, the English Bulldog, welcomes every guests with pep in her step. I go to Georgie’s every week and have yet to be disappointed by my experience there. Long live Queen Georgie.

Our company has now had several work get-togethers at Georgie’s, all of which have been fantastic! Jen and her crew worked with us on the menu and wine selections, which never disappoint. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. I highly recommend you check Georgie’s out for your next work outing. My employees love it (and especially love visiting with Georgie the Bulldog herself)!

Georgie's is a fun spot, centrally located in downtown Boston's Financial District. Jen and Jeremy are wholly attentive to their customers, and the ambiance at Georgie's is wonderful! The lighting, comfort and acoustics are all excellent due to the design of their seating area. They sure know their wines. I don't know how they are knowledgeable about so many varieties! But they are! Cheers!

Have been to Georgie's several times and had a wonderful experience on each occasion. The service is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. And honestly, Georgie the dog puts it over the top. A must if you like wine!

We had a corporate event here and the process was seamless from the start. The owner Jen was very responsive and accommodating to all of our changing requests! The wine and food were delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. Will definitely be going here again!

Cute and chic wine bar, the atmosphere is great for small groups. The selection of specialty wines is excellent and the shop mascot Georgie the bulldog is a total gem.

I'm new to wine so having Jen explain the wines and be so helpful guiding me through the experience, it was a joy of a time. Even Georgie was there to enhance the moment. Everyone was so nice. Many of the patrons were regulars and were very interactive. Absolutely loved it and would love to go back.

We came across this place on a freezing night; I immediately fell in love with the chic, but familiar atmosphere! The servers were very friendly, the music pleasant & the menu original: the cheese & charcuterie selection was exquisite, just like the snacks or toasts. The wines were amazing: I adored the Californian Malvasia, but was glad to discover lots of great European wines, too: Italian, Spanish, Slovenian, Austrian etc.

So fabulous!! Service amazing, atmosphere amazing!! Will definitely be back!! Georgie is so sweet🥰

Jen is great. Her wine club is the best! You can let her know the types of wine you like and she'll curate a box for you!

Had a great first time tasting experience here really loved the presentation and it definitely set off a spark for wine for me and my partner.the sommelier was awesome and great at explaining the different types of wines and how they’re produced and left knowing a lot more than I could ever imagine

Our team hosted a happy hour, Jen Scott was helpful and accommodating, we'll definitely hold more events at Georgie's.

Went in and told them what we liked, and she gave us a few recommendations. One was a blend that had our absolute favorite wine and we didn’t even tell her that one!!! Wonderful service and if we lived locally, would totally visit again!

Such a great place for some wine and very knowledgeable staff! Plus meeting Georgie the bulldog was an added bonus!

This is our absolute favourite place in Boston!! ❤ The wine selection is incredible, the service is over the top (Paul is so great and knowledgable, letting us try so many wines) and the atmosphere is vibrant. Perfect spot for drinks after work 🥂
