Drake's Pikeville, KY

Finally another great and one of my favorite restaurants that I don’t have to drive two hours to get to. This Drakes is as good as any I’ve eaten at. Service is a little slower but to be expected as they break in a new staff. Don’t be intimidated by the crowd, they are plenty of seating and our projected one hour wait was actually 20 minutes. Food was spot on and consistent with what we’ve had in other locations.

Overall, we are thrilled! Finally having a good restaurant option in the neighborhood 🙌 . Best sushi in the county, if not the region. Drinks are good, service is friendly and timely, albeit they appropriately staffed up with members with experience to back up the new servers. Burgers are amazing, the steak however, misses the mark at this price point, and the kitchen seemed to miss medium rare by miles. Newly opened expect 45 min weight and since no reservations are being accepted (you will have to wait in the parking lot bar to be seated.) Fairly frenic sports bar atmosphere might be a little much for an intimate date. Still, highly enjoyed the whole experiences enough to go several times since opening.

It's hard to beat Drake's. I don't believe I've ever had a bad meal from here. One simply can't go wrong with the crab rangoon sushi. In fact, the Aqua sushi bar is fabulous and they have a great selection. The steaks and burgers are great. If you order the fried fish dinner, I hope you're hungry. It was all wonderful.

The chicken was the best in my opinion. We did have a small issue with our food but they fixed it and the manager stopped to talk to us. We will definitely be going back.

Great food! Awesome drinks! Great atmosphere. Our waiter was a sweet girl and very good at her job! We will be back!

Our party of 15 was taken care of so PERFECTLY by Jay, our server. He was so accommodating, funny, and hospitable. It was a busy busy night, but we were served (Delicious) food and drinks promptly & with a smile! He went above and beyond the entire time. Shout out to management who helped us when the first seating option given wasn't disability friendly for some of our party. Quickly resolved and perfect all around

My family couldn't sit at the high chairs. They moved us around the corner to a patio type area. We all think we got the best place ever!! A green expanse of lawn. To many of us, a flock of Eastern Bluebirds, right in front of us. We don't live here (Louisville), but we'll be back next year.

Been there twice. Club sandwich and quesadillas are very good. Service was relatively fast and workers were nice despite being swamped because of it being their first week. Drinks are good. Prices are comparable to other sit down places to be honest. It just depends on what you get.

Really great place, met up with a friend who recommended it - the sushi was excellent, husband really commended the burgers. Looking forward to a return trip to try other things on the menu. Lots of variety if you're in a group that can't decide where to go!

My sushi was raw! I ordered tuna roll a d it was raw! Raw I tell you. No no no I haven't been there but a 5 star to help build the area Even though the articles on line never answers how or why they choose Pikeville

We got drinks before we even finished the last one. At least 5 people asked us if we needed anything. Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Can't wait to go again.

Super yummy food, great atmosphere, awesome service! We will definitely be back! Love that they have sushi, it was delicious and very fresh!!

My family loves Drake’s. Glad to have one closer to home. Great place to eat with family and friends. Nice variety on the menu.
