Toft's on 250

Adorable little shop with friendly staff, incredible ice cream, and tons of delicious options! Absolutely planning to return next time I’m in the area!

Delicious ice cream and a huge variety of flavors (but they don't have as many 1.5 qt options as the main Toft's. I stopped here after a trip to Cedar Point and got the ice cream waffle "taco" which was excellent.

Great second location for the Toft’s brand. Very easy to find location and plenty of parking available. If you are an ice cream lover this is the place for you! They offer real ice cream in many different amazing flavors. They have a seating area for if you wish to stay and enjoy your treats, or you can just get yours to go. The employees are always friendly and helpful in choosing a flavor or what ingredients are in each one. The store is very clean and well organized. If you are in the area we highly recommend Toft’s at either location, kids just love being able to see and pick out the different flavors. The portion sizes are huge, so order a smaller size than what you want! They also offer “doggie size” for your fur babies to get a treat.

Line was out the door - but the girls working were super friendly and patient. Ice cream was delicious and helpings were huge! Would recommend and will be back!

Don't miss Toft’s on 250 if you're an ice cream lover! Their ice cream cake is a masterpiece – a perfect blend of creamy ice cream and fudge with Oreos. The flavors are outstanding, and the cozy ambiance adds to the enjoyment. A must-visit for dessert enthusiasts!

Just stopped in before heading back to Columbus after the holidays. Got a 20oz Cave Man Chocolate milkshake and was immediately wowed! Love Toft’s ice cream and love having this spot right on the strip here in Sandusky.

Ice cream was great I got a vanilla but it was rainbow which was pretty cool! Very fast service!

Started to order a large, and was told thats 7 scoops. Got a small, only 3 scoops. I love ice cream and just barely finished it. Huge selection of great flavors. Should have took picture.

Ice cream is absolutely delicious! Blueberry waffle cone is surprisingly refreshing!

Super friendly staff who was quickly willing to look up allergy info, around 50 flavors - free tastings, delicious ice cream at reasonable prices. It was a fun space to hang out. (Maybe organize product sheets so its easier to find a flavor to check for allergy causing ingredients).

10/10 would absolutely go again! The staff was super kind and friendly. We had a bad experience at an ice cream place before we came and they completely improved our night. The portions are very generous and the price was pretty reasonable. Will definitely be coming again!

Love their portion sizes! If you’re gonna get dessert at Toft’s right after dinner, I highly suggest you get the kid size (I know it sounds weird, but it’s true). My mom and I went to Toft’s for dessert after eating dinner at Penn Station next door. We both ordered small ice cream in waffle cones. While the girl doing our order was scooping my mom’s order, my mom was shocked as the girl kept going at the scoops and boy, both ice cream cones were HUGE!!! Like, the small size was comparable size to a 2 dip ice cream cone at Baskin Robbins. Luckily the girl was nice enough to offer us cups and spoons on the side because we knew our ice cream would melt and drip and our cones would crack. Usually at other ice cream places, they don’t bother offering you a cup on the side, so you have to ask them yourself for one. Support your local businesses guys! Will come back:)

The large banana split is hands down one of the top 3 I've ever had. 9 scoops of hand scoop ice cream. Each flavor was great. The strawberry they use on top has real sliced strawberries in it.

Ice cream tacos?! Tofts on 250 has them. The “shells” smell so good as they custom make them for your order! My chocolate mint cookie crumble ice cream was delish. Cute, clean interior. Plenty of seating, inside and out on the patio. Lots of parking in back — and don’t miss the giant Adirondack chair!
