Cobbs Drive-In

Our family was in town for the half Ironman in Sandusky, OH; after we finished watching my older brother complete the half Ironman, he really wanted some soft-serve ice cream for some reason...

This was the closest ice cream place in town, so we decided to come here. It was pouring buckets outside, so we went through the drive-through. I got a small twist cone (the cone in the photo is a SMALL! I was very surprised by the size after ordering a small), and it was absolutely delicious!! The price for my cone was $2.25

Fast and friendly service as well as great-tasting ice cream! What more could you ask from an ice cream shop?? :)

Nice place to buy ice cream in a hot day. I bought Sunday ice cream with pineapple in medium size. I didn’t imagine that medium size looks like large size. My family and I like it so much.

I tried this place by chance on a trip as I live a few counties over. I got two flurries for my toddler and me and it was roughly $11. I thought that was a bit steep, but listen… there HUGE! And they were delicious. I got a strawberry cheesecake and loved it. The workers were nice and considering how busy the drive through was (seems to be super popular), they prepped our order really fast. They do accept card. They have seating on a covered patio. I didn’t see any hard scoop options but I may have just not noticed it. Only two complaints are that it’s close to the road, which if you have a small one isn’t ideal… also the patio needed cleaned better. Because of the debris there were so many bees that we had to go eat in the car. These are typical issues for ice cream stands though, minor problems. Definitely can see why this location seems so popular.

Great ice cream. This place reminds me of shops I used to go to as a kid. I had a Turtle Sundae. Kids got twists with sprinkles. 100% would come back again!

Next door to Pizza House West, so you can get a delicious soft serve Toft cone to go with your hot pizza pie!

I happen to live close but Ive been coming to Cobbs since I was a kid... They're prices are okay, everything is normally fast with great service. Not only Ice cream and frozen treats but hot food like shredded chicken sandwiches, chilli cheese footlong hotdogs, which are amazing, and soft pretzels and a variety of other foodstuffs.

Very fast. Has a drive thru and walk up window. Flurries are a little thinner than Dairy Queen but have way more options. If you see something anywhere on the menu they can make it into a flurry or milkshake.

Our flurries were delicious!! A small was a very generous size, which was good since it was $5.25. We will be back🍦

Had a line around the building for the drive thru and still helped a lot of us at the walk-up window and fast. Love the ice cream and hot dogs 👍🏻👍🏻

What a great way to end a great day. I'm so glad we decided to leave the park before getting ice cream. Not only was the food and ice cream great, the service was exceptionally friendly as well. I wish I could pick this place up and take it back to Nashville with me. Thanks for ending out vacation PERFECTLY!

Could not believe how fast Cobbs was. Because of this, thought the quality would be low. I was blown away when I took my first bite on my grasshopper flurry. So darn good. This is the place to get ice cream everyone!

They have good ice cream, for a fair price, in fact best price around! They now accept credit cards with a .50 convenience fee. They have burgers, great chili dogs, Apple slices with Carmel, sloppy joes, but no deep fried foods. A newer addition is Dole Whip, which has real fruit in it. There is a drive through, or walk up, and no public restrooms.

With walk up and drivethrew window service, this ice cream and sandwich snack shop is in a long time great location.
In a good neighborhood, it's a nice place to sit and eat outdoor under their awning on nice tables and benches.
