The food was absolutely delicious and the prices are reasonable. The local burger, cheese fries and cheese bings (curds) are a must have. They didn't include utensils for the cheese fries though.

Best surprise I’ve had this year so far!

Genuinely found my favorite burger I’ve had in Years! Since 2013 to be exact.

“The Local burger” not only were the ingredients, pimento cheese, bacon, fried green tomato and the brioche bun, perfectly selected. Thought was also out into where these ingredients came from.

Some restaurants I feel get lost trying to make the business side of things work and forget to actually cook and give great service. NOT this one!

Simply decorated. No fancy uniforms. All the attention goes into the food and the service that they provide each and every guest.

That was my experience. And i will return to this restaurant as well as recommend it to anyone seeking a gem of a place and spectacular burger!

Nice place and great flavors! The Philly cheesesteaks are really good and full of flavor. Only downside is the meat to bread ratio is a little off. It would be better if they charged a little more and gave you more meat. That said, this place is worth a visit.

I ordered the Fedville, Local Burger, and closed on Sunday sandwich. I live an hour away and couldn’t make up my mind, I figured I might as well try em all, and I was not disappointed. All three items were really good. Will definitely eat here again if I’m in the area

The Local Cafe knows how to make a great cheesesteak sandwich. I really enjoy a good cheesesteak and this was a good one. The cafe is right on the town square and is a great use for the space. The wait staff was very friendly and the meal was prepared quickly and arrived at our table in a flash.

I started with a cup of the soup of the day which was lobster bisque. The soup was full of flavor and was a nice start to the meal. I then ordered the Southeaster and upon the recommendation of the waitress, I added mushrooms. It was fantastic.

I would definitely stop hear before heading into Lynchburg or on my way home again.

Great food and service. They really make you feel like a local when you walk in the door. The menu has many interesting twists on classic food such as a grilled cheese, BLT, and cheese fries. A+, will be back!

Chicken Philly isn’t on the menu but it is great. They have local honey for dipping their sweet potato fries. We like the cheese curds app. Ask for the “local sauce” to dip your sandwich in.

Absolutely loved it. The service was fast and personalized. When I stated it was my first visit she gave me a menu and even let me know what to order for the future to save me a little bit of money. She also double checked to make sure I meant to order two side items as well then even went further and put the cheese on the side for me since I meant to order it that way initially.

Love The Local! I met some friends for dinner tonight and had a great experience. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door and we had awesome service. Everything was prepared quickly and just as we ordered. We started with Local Shrimp appetizer and then I had the Surf and Turf fry basket and it was delicious! Our table shared some desserts and let me tell you the salted caramel bundt cake is fabulous!

Favorite place to eat in Fayetteville! Everything I’ve tried has been awesome and delicious. The shrimp po boy is my favorite. Huge shrimp on the perfect bread with the local sauce is sooo good. I’ve also had Philly cheesesteaks and the Closed on Sunday chicken sandwich. All have been delicious. Ordering online is easy and they prepare it fast. Prices are great. Honestly, I think they should charge more! I’d pay it and still come. I’d highly recommend this place!

Some of the best food in town! Not only is the lunch phenomenal, but the dining in for dinner is a totally different atmosphere and it's amazing the work they put in to make everyone feel welcome. I would recommend 10 out of 10 ⭐'s if it was an option!

The name says it all. I felt like a local when I was here. The food was delicious and served very quickly. The fries were absolutely perfect: golden brown, crispy, still glistening with a light coating of hot oil. No old oil smell or taste! The "local" burger was cooked perfectly medium, just as I ordered. It was one of the more expensive burger and fry meals I've had, but it was quite possibly one of the best. I will be back!

The food is great and reasonably priced. We were surprised when there was no dining room, based on the pictures from the old location, but otherwise excellent.

I love this place. The food is always great and staff are always nice. I would recommend anything on the menu, there are no weak areas. I think my favorite items on the menu are the bacon, lettuce, fried green tomato sandwich, The Wally, and cheese bings. The bar area is nice to sit at and have a drink.

Wonderful food prepared well. Attentive servers. Their local sauce is excellent. I had the surf and turf burger of a well prepared beef patty, breaded fried shrimp and Bleu cheese on a spectacular bun. Sides are al a carte. Their sandwich options are vast and their loaded fries are a must. Best lunch in the square.

We celebrated our Granddaughter's 10th birthday at The Local. It was wonderful ! The food amazing, service wonderful and, safety tops. We all enjoyed ourselves and the staff. Please try this hometown favorite. They also wear masks !

Always great food. The staff here are friendly and understand how to serve without disturbing your table. A great, local spot with an intimate environment. It consistently demonstrates a pursuit of excellence that transports you beyond a typical small-town restaurant.
