The Bulk beef and Housemade beef sausages have been consistently outstanding. The animals are treated to the best life in spacious fields to graze and do cow stuff. The utmost humane treatment at harvest time is implemented. This sound stewardship results in a great product. The animals are peaceful, not stressed, your palate will speak to this at first taste. The Housemade Sausages have been a family fav of ours. Amie has done much research for her recipes, and they do not disappoint. Beef Chorizo, Spicy Italian Beef and the North African Lamb Sausage was a major thumbs up from my family. I would reccomend this farm and its products to whomever is interested in a food source that embraces the high standards I have experienced for the last 3.5 years.

I have ordered bulk beef from Franchesca's Dawn Farm on a few occasions. Each time Amie was super helpful with cut selections, and arranging convenient shipping days. This last order I had moved to North Carolina and the delivery was prompt and the product was still well packed and frozen.The meat has been nothing short of exceptional in both quality and taste. Everything came vacuum packed and stored very well. Amie is also a good ear to bounce recipe ideas off of as well. Very friendly family to do business with.

My husband and I purchased a whole Devon cow and it is even more delicious than we could have imagined! The steaks are huge and the best I have ever had in my life. There is a good variety of meat that will last our family a very long time. Amie and her husband came all the way out and delivered it to our home. Everything we have ever purchased from Francesca’s Dawn Farm has been amazing quality.

My wife and I showed up randomly one day at the farm and we met Amie while browsing the store. We chatted awhile and she was very personable and passionate about her farm and how humanely she treats her animals. The pork, beef, and the bone broth we bought were fantastic. The flavor of pasture raised meats can't be beat in my humble opinion. Of course it will be more pricey than the local grocery store, but you are buying an exceptionally higher quality product that is far more nutrient dense. We will definitely drive an hour and a half again to purchase more again in the future. Can't wait to stock up again soon!

I have known the owner of Francesca Dawn Farms for quite some time. I have been to her farm and inside her shop and processing room. I have met her animals. The care she gives to these animals we eat is amazing. Her pastures are wonderful. Her meats are second to none. Just today her sage breakfast sausage made my breakfast! And tonight I devoured the most excellent Tbone steak. I highly recommend Amie and all her meat!!!

Check out the website, you won't believe the variety! Quality meats raised in Virginia that can be shipped or picked up monthly at various locations (which is what I did). Now my freezer is stocked & what I've tried so far has been wonderful!. Beautifully prepped (no pin feathers on whole chicken & no 'bone-saw grit' on beef & pork) & wrapped. Sausages are a must-try! Worth every penny & I'll be a repeat customer.

We recently purchased a 1/4th cow from FDF and we couldn’t be more pleased! Amie was absolutely wonderful to work with and her husband delivered our beef making it incredibly easy for us! Everything was packaged beautifully and the taste is incredible.. far superior to anything you’d get from a supermarket.

I have visited Franchesca's Dawn Farm and farm store many times and am now a devoted customer. The meats and products are worth the expense and excellent. I have even done "taste tests" in comparison to other meats from gourmet grocery stores and FDF wins every time. The specialty sausages are also phenomenal and I have such fun trying the new ones. The service and family run business is wonderful and the farm is quite interesting. Highly recommend the products for pickup/delivery and if you can visit the farm store it is even more fun.

My wife and I recently made the trip out to the farm to pick up an order and just to enjoy a ride in the country. It was well worth it. The store is well stocked with a variety of meats and cuts and we added several items to our order on sight. We love their meats and the new sausage is excellent. Aside from great food, it's also a pleasure to just chat with Amie. Highly recommended.

We have been buying meat, sausage, chicken and pork from Amie for a couple years now and are impressed with the quality and taste of everything. Most of the time we order ahead on the website and then drive out to pick up and that works like a charm. Everything is packed and ready to go. Occasionally we browse the selections while at the store -- they have a very nice small store right on the property -- and will add an item or two that we didn't see on the site. You can't go wrong with the quality and I highly recommend you check it out.

I can't say enough about the quality and flavor of the meat I purchase. Ground beef that is low in excess fat (no sticky feel when you handle it), tasteful and stays fresh when uncooked as I eat small amounts over a few days.
The beef, goat and lamb stew meat is a favorite for soup and stew...tender with lots of flavor. I don't use much sausage but love the ground asian flavor sausage and use mild link sausage occasionally.
Locally raised chicken and pork chops are great.

Plus, I can support local farmers and sustainable farming practices. We are all in this together.

Had a great time for our first visit to the store. Great selection of meats. When we arrived home we cooked the chicken thighs. And yes what a difference in taste. Also cooked the bacon was great. Big difference from the grocery store meats. Yes it cost more but worth every penny. Cant wait to get back and try some other cuts of meat

Absolutely love everything I’ve gotten and had a chance to fix. Chicken bone broth is absolutely amazing! Drank some straight from the container and it was perfect, made basque style soup with more of it and everyone loved it. Pic is of some of the Luganega Links, browned, with fresh grated Parmesan and noodles with a drizzle of olive oil. Luganega Links are an Italian sausage with no fennel and just enough hot pepper kick to wake your taste buds up. Amie is super helpful and answered all of my questions about the different sausages and cuts of meat!

I placed my first order last month sampling pork, steaks and roasts and taking advantage of 'Chuck Wagon' delivery. All I can say is 'Wow!'. There's simply no comparison between the taste and quality of this local free-range meat and the typical grocery store meat. The steaks, in particular, were incredible!

In addition to tasting better, being healthier and more nutritious, it doesn’t come with the negative Karma of participation in the factory farm industry.

Also, the website worked great to build an order, Aimee's communication via email was quick and friendly, delivery was on time and the prices are very reasonable!

I plan on placing an order every month!

It is a pleasure to order quality food from a farm and farm family. Easy ordering on line , with products rapidly shipped frozen to your door in a reusable container or, if you're on their route, easily picked up. Owner Amie is friendly and personable; her web site is interesting and educational. Their beef and lamb are excellent and would easily be served by top restaurants. Buy from an independent farmer versus a corporation - help the farmer and help yourself - we each win!

2nd time ordering. Love it. Delivers about every month-6 weeks to Greensboro. Both the lamb and goat merguez sausages are FANTASTIC. Pork shanks are really great too… website is super easy to navigate. Price is an estimation until they pull and weigh your specific order… I highly recommend.

The best lamb my family and I have ever tasted and we eat a lot of lamb. We recently ordered a whole lamb. We got a box full of neatly packaged and labeled lamb meat, ready for our freezer. The meat tasted like no other store bought meat. You can actually taste the grass it was eating. very clean and healthy. Will never buy lamb anywhere else.

The pork chops from Francesca's are more than amazing. They are the best tasting pork chops that I have ever eaten. Unlike grocery store pork chops with their flat taste, these pork chops make you happy to chew them. I've bought both "bone-in" and without bone and it make no difference, they are great. Everything that I've tried brats, eggs, steaks, hamburger, etc., is just wonderful.

I have NEVER been disappointed with anything from this farm. From steaks, ground meat, sausage, honey, you name it we've enjoyed it. Even the beef liver is way above the grocery store! highly recommend!

I now order all my meats from Franchesca’s Dawn. The quality is top notch; I can feel good knowing I'm eat pastured meat, and delivery is quick! I have never had an issue, but I have been asked of there were any issues and told if there were, they would send replacements right away. Recommend 100%! (Also try the cheese!)
