JR did an exceptional job guiding us in the purchase of our Tuff Shed. He came to our home, brought paint samples so we could view the actual colors easily, and assisted us in looking at and evaluating the best method for placing the shed in the area we had planned. Tuff Shed of Ft Worth installed a great shed. Took care of the permitting and installed a 12x20 ft barn in less than 1 day. Very solid work.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Tuff Shed! First off, I would like to thank JR for helping me with my purchase and walking me through everything. Down to every penny that I was going to be spending. He explained what all the costs were for. He didn't keep anything out. Not only did he walk me through my purchase, but he also stayed with me through the whole process, down to the builders coming out and the final paperwork. He was there for me the whole time if I had any questions. He helped me get the Tuff Shed of my choice. I also would like to thank the builders. They went above and beyond to get my shed built for me.

First of all, I am brand loyal already. We went to buy a new shed. JR was fantastic. Terms of loan were too good not to pass up. Process was so easy. They came to the house and built the shed from the ground up. Great!! No more attic for us!

Just purchased/installed a shed and worked with JR. JR was very communicative and walked me through the whole process. I would definitely recommend him and the company. The purchase and installation were quick and I love my new shed. It appears to be very sturdy!

Did a bit of shopping around and found Tuff Shed to offer better quality sheds for similar prices as others. Especially liked the galvanized steel base (instead of wooden joists) and flooring which was stated to be bitter to rodents & insects. I actually had them flip the floor, so that I could paint the unfinished side (now on top) - with some light gray latex deck paint for easier cleanup - looks great! JR was great throughout the entire process. JR came over to examine my backyard, spoke over the phone to answer various questions and answered more when he showed me around the shed lot, and then created the order. Settled on a 10' x 24' Gabled Barn Shed, and I installed an 8' loft on one end. Can also add various loft installs as add-on options. Will see what kind of lofts I want to install on the other sides.

On-site installers were great also and worked hard in the Texas June heat to get it all installed properly. My only 2 criticisms would be the leveling blocking and that some of the 2x4's had some large gashes (noted that Tuff Shed warns about this and states that this is common, however, I'd prefer better QC from Tuff Shed - as I do when I choose lumber from the big box stores). Regarding leveling blocks, I had heard long ago of people complaining about how installers level sheds - from various different manufacturers. So, I decided to do it myself and worked for 2 full days with some grading of the area and digging down to install various combinations of 3 different sizes of 8"x16" solid concrete blocks (1.5", 2" & 4" (3.5" nominal) thick) and checked level with respect to all adjacent blocks. When the installers came, they just had 3 more rows to install (my brother-in-law and I hadn't finished those), and they broke out their cheap 1.5" thick concrete blocks (which apparently break really easily) and wooden wedge shims. This was what I was trying to avoid and wished I had finished installing and levelling all of the rows myself before they came. Tuff shed only requires supports every 48" (every other joist, spaced 24" apart on center), but I wanted supports under every joist, so that's what I did. Nothing against Tuff Shed on all of this, as I don't know of any shed manufacturer who would do any better on this, and none warranty against the shed settling. Just a word of warning to do it right yourself, or have a foundation installed if you're concerned with differential settlement and other issues that are common with the North Texas soils.

I like the options that Tuff Shed has, but only chose 2 skylights and the ridge-vent, and upgrade to the double-doors (3' wide each), as I usually just need the 3'-wide door, but it's nice to have the wider opening when needed. Also, 4'-wide doors put more weight on the hinges and are more likely to sag over time. Love the quality of the door construction and the hardware. Love paint colors also. Still need to do some work around the base to keep critters out.

We are finally getting our shed!!!! I am so grateful for the patience and perseverance JR showed as our school moved through the LONG process of securing the needed permits! He consistently checked in with me, made visits to the campus to check all measurements personally, and literally kept me from giving up multiple times! He was so patient as he had to walk me through all the options and gave practical advice about additions and features I might want/need. I would definitely recommend JR to anyone wanting a shed for their location.
