Very busy breakfast place, and well worth the wait! The dining room is cozy and crammed. The Hangover Hash I had is next-level delicious, and they don't scimp on the portion size at all. They slow cook and shred the corned beef in house, and it's amazing. The marble rye bread toast is perfect with it. The Blueberry stuffed French toast is so good. Loved this place.

Highly recommend the corned beef hash with rye toast. The toast was beautiful.
There seems to always be a wait to get in due to limited seating, but it is worth the wait.

There's always going to be a small wait to get a table here for breakfast in the summer, but it's completely worth it. Portions are hardy, prices are low, and the food is delicious. I recommend the Benedict's- their Hollandaise sauce is amazing, and there is plenty of it poured over those delicious eggs. They also serve mimosas and beer in addition to typical breakfast coffee, tea, juice etc.

Stopped in here for breakfast while staying in the area to visit the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. The seating area in this restaurant is rather small, and the benches and tables appear to be hardwood, homemade from many years ago. Don't expect a world of comfort in your seating, but do expect some great food with a few interesting choices. It looks like the present owners have only had the restaurant for a limited period of time and are still getting organized. Besides the regular breakfast selections there are a few south of the border options. If you have difficulty managing stairs, this may not be the place for you as there are several steps to enter in the front. Also, be prepared to wait if you arrive after the crowd has already been seated. Having said that the staff was very attentive; prices were reasonable; food was served quickly; and the quality was quite good. This is definitely a place worth checking out for a good quality breakfast.

In from Galveston TX again. Corned beef hash, eggs and English muffins were great. Service was quick and all reasonably priced. We will be back

This is a cozy restaurant, so I recommend going early for breakfast. It fills up fast! We have a family of 4 (including two teenagers) and we needed to get two tables to be comfortable (just because the booths are very small and can only accommodate one adult). Waitress was all business but was able to get my dairy allergy accommodated. Food was very good but portions are a bit small (but we are from the Midwest, where portions are probably too big). Overall, good place for a good breakfast.

Best breakfast in town! The menu has a nice variety, and the food is clearly made with quality ingredients. And it's right next to the dock, so the atmosphere has that classic maritime feel to it. What more could you ask for from a brunch spot?

Charming Boothbay Harbor restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. The stuffed French toasts were amazing and the pancakes bigger than your head. The servers were quick and friendly. Definitely worth a try!

Highly recommend. Stopped for dinner and had pobably the best chicken alfredo I've had in Maine and perfectly cooked salmon my partner loved. Unique cute atmosphere/seating, great service and food.

Brunch at Waves was wonderful! We waited around 15 minutes to be seated, and there was a well-organized wait list and system. The interior is cozy, with some interesting angles and booth shapes, but we fit just fine! I enjoyed my French toast, and my parents loved their omelettes. We received excellent service despite being busy. Would definitely recommend!

Great, yummy breakfast and lunch food (not open for dinner). Reasonably priced with great service, clean, and cozy but plenty of room at your table. I had the Blueberry French Toast and it was the best I've ever had (stuffed with blueberry / cream cheese heaven). My husband had pancakes, eggs, taters, bacon and he said it was delicious. Warm coffee warmed us up after a boat cruise. Our favorite place we ate in Boothbay Harbor.

Great breakfast spot! The waitstaff is friendly and attentive and the breakfast is just like Mom used to make. The home fried potatoes are perfectly crisp and tasty. The stuffed French toast is my favorite!

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast experience at Waves while in Boothbay Harbor. Ionatan and staff were gracious and friendly. The food was not only delicious but plated beautifully. The extra care and service made it a breakfast above the rest.

When I requested hot tea (perfect for a cool, drizzly Maine morning) I was kindly presented with a large wooden box filled with tea choices. Pretty exciting to a tea devotee like myself. The service was absolutely perfect. I ordered the eggs benedict; at Waves, it's served fairly bare-bones unless you request a protein. I opted for the spinach. My eggs were poached to that perfect runnyness and the hollandaise was creamy and tart. They know how to make a benny, and they make it well. Honestly though? Those homefries were the star of my plate. I will dream about those homefries for months to come. They were extremely crispy but soft fried, if that makes any sense, almost like they were beer-battered. It was a very memorable plate!

This place was so good! It was pretty small inside and no outdoor seating so you may have to wait but it was totally worth it. The lobster Benedict and the breakfast banana split were so good I'm drooling just writing this review. Wish I took better photos of the food before I devoured it.

Breakfasts there are amazing and I am a huge fan of their sausage benedict....OMG, so good!!! Had it 2 out of 3 mornings while there and the homefries are the best around. Great service and friendly staff.

Think about the Huevos rancheros all the time. Best I have ever had! We traveled from Western Colorado, so I know good huevos rancheros. Nothing compares to the magic y’all make.
