Fantastic experience! The buffet offers a wide range of delicious meat , including perfectly grilled New York strip. The service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Great value for the price. Highly recommended!

I was there twice with different family members.
Food was great and service was good , order a pop corn chicken first , since it is already cooked and delicious.
We like this place more than other Korean BBQ.
1/ used iPad ordered was great , during busy time or waiting stuffs are busy will really help .
2/ lots different vegetables and meats.
A lot more selection than others .
Iron age only has one vegetable , one pork belly to choose from.
3/ other BBQs don't have soups and desserts or desserts are extra.
Cake was great ,I had 2 .
Both soups are delicious.
4/it is a pretty clean restaurant, it is new tho .
1st time ,the waiter didn't offer to change grill meches/screens when they got pretty dirty , before we left , a guy looked like manger offered to change for us .
The waiter told us 30 mins before end of lunch , last call to order anything .
2nd time ,they waiteress changed twice , didn't rush us.
We could ask 1st waiter changed meshes , was pretty busy, so we didn't.
We will go back again .I also post this restaurant experience in my integration and Facebook, I did for every restaurant I like .

Excited to have an All-You-Can-Eat Asian BBQ place farther North! So many options... popcorn chicken, Taiwanese sausage, beef bulgogi, many different cuts of meat with and without marinade, along with many veg options. Looks like a Korean BBQ place with the built-in grills in each table, but has a variety of Asian influences on their menu. So don't expect this to be your typical Korean BBQ place since they also have Japanese influence and definitely include Taiwanese items. No banchan served here, except Kimchi, when ordered. The entire family enjoyed the food and we will definitely be back to try more of the other options. We enjoyed bulgogi, popcorn chicken, spare ribs, pineapple slices, button mushrooms, shrimp, mussels, zucchini, and more. iPad for ordering was super convenient and food came out quickly, so there's no need to over order. Never ran out of water. Grill was changed out without us asking, part way through the meal. Decor is contemporary and ventilation is built into the grill... Similar to those smokeless fire pits, which means no loud overhead vent hood. It was a little chilly due to the ventilation, but I appreciate the non smokey air. This was their first weekend soft open and Mother's Day. Looking forward to what it'll be like after it's grand opening and they've had a chance to work out any issues.

I've been looking forward to trying our Tomahawk since I heard about it. Tonight we got to as we just finished our Mother's Day dinner during their soft opening.

This is an all you can eat, grill your own food type of place. The meats and veggies were high quality, fresh, and well seasoned. I especially liked the garlic pork belly, boneless short ribs, garlic shrimp, bulgilgi, and strip steak. I also had some broccoli and zucchini to convince myself I was being healthy, but my favorite healthy option was the griled pineapple... followed by more pork belly

The plates of food come out super fast allowing us to just keep adding a few dishes whenever we wanted.

Some reviews mention service issues but although it was a soft opening, our service was great. The ordering tablet does have a button to call for the server but we didn't need it, probably because we kept ordering food and somebody would quickly bring it and assist us if needed.

Definitely will visit again.

Just had the most incredible meal at Tomahawk BBQ Steakhouse! The steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful beyond words. Each bite was a true delight, leaving me craving for more. If you're a meat lover, this is the place to be! Can't wait to come back for another delicious feast!🥩🔥

I took my mom here for mother's day, and it was amazing!! The service was great, and the atmosphere was cool (there was a fake fire wall and a red bull thingy). I'll be buying pants next size up after this exquisite dining experience🔥🔥

Just popped into Tomahawk for their soft opening! The service was super quick—I barely had time to look up from one delicious plate before the next arrived. And the meats? Seriously top-quality stuff, making the whole all-you-can-eat BBQ experience something to rave about. They’ve really nailed it, making sure you get plenty of variety without skimping on the good stuff. Can't wait to go back for more. Highly recommend checking Tomahawk out if you’re in the mood for a killer BBQ.

Awesome place for Asian BBQ. We wanted meat and this was perfect. There's an all you can eat option which is all you need. Choose beef and beef ribs and chicken and squid and pork. Some vegetables too and side dishes. It's hard to beat the price, and the service is fantastic! I didn't know this before but if your grill gets too charred before you're done, they replace it!

Atmosphere was wonderful! Very clean and nice environment and overall fun experience! Our server Drew was super kind and attentive throughout our meal. We will definitely be back for Drew and our next wonderful meal here!

It’s an AYCE BBQ space. Our waiters are super helpful and friendly. They change the barbecue tray timely and according to what we were cooking, they replaced with different types of trays. The bbq cooking tool is also amazing as there is no smoke at all.
All protein were fresh, and I highly recommend pork belly and beef bulgogi. Shrimp is great as well.

Had the pleasure of having a great night with my love. We got to enjoy cooking and talking 👄 together bulgogi, pork belly, marinated shrimp, pork bulgogi, a delicious array of vegetables and topped it off with some ice cream and cake. I personally enjoyed this experience. The Owner Gavin personally served our table and it felt as if we were getting hosted at home. They taught us how to work the tables and heat expectations for different meats. We were extremely pleased and will be back with family and friends. All of the staff was extremely welcoming and kind. Our meat was tender and well-seasoned. Since we were new to the Korean bbq concept, our amazing waiter, gio, explained it to us and made the whole thing so simple to understand. Everything from the atmosphere, to the quality of product, to the staff was so beyond any expectations that could have ever been made.

Amazing food and Loved the atmosphere. Can’t eat most meats, but still was able to eat and enjoy food there. Great vegetarian options, half of my food eaten there was vegetarian sushi. Will be going there again soon :).

Fantastic food, service, decor! My Mother’s Day dinner was fantastic! So many menu selections and they were all delicious. I highly recommend the New York steak, beef brisket, kimchi, teriyaki rib eye, and pineapple. Our server Gio was so friendly and funny. The restaurant is also so beautiful. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Everything was great! The Hawaiian beef bulgogi and the pork bulgogi were everyone’s favorites. There are lots of different choices when it comes to the marinade for each meat so everyone gets something they want. The New York steaks were very good portions and well seasoned and it is all you can eat so everyone left full and satisfied! Highly recommend!

The flavors are very yummy and the service was awesome! It’s all you can eat, and the portions are good. We tried the beef, pork, and chicken. Can’t wait to try their seafood options and can’t wait to see what more items they add to the menu!

Great service and great food at a great price. One of the best I’ve had in Chicago - prefer the meats and the grill even to Gyu-Kaku downtown (although Gyu-Kaku has more appetizer choices like the bibimbap)
