Jakes Burgers

Seeing a number of unfair 1-3 star reviews. All of my servers have been excellent.
Also seeing a lot of responses from Jakes to these, so they care.
Okay.
The food is excellent, the place and the bank parking lot's been packed for 3 months now.

The drink refills. EDIT: Jakes responded quickly to this review stating their policy is free refills.
Problem solved, good on you Jakes.

The burgers and appetizers are all excellent. The frito pie is excellent.
The reason the bank parking lot is always filled up is because Jake's is offering a level of excellence Aledo has had to drive 20m or more to get. For years.
Excellent servers, excellent burgers, excellent place, Aledo has needed this for a number of years.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Jakes. Great burgers and fries. Kids' chicken strips were really good too. The service was excellent - fast and friendly.

The Cheese Curds were fantastic. The burger was good. Just a little more dry than my liking, but better than most around here. My burger came out incorrect, but they of course made it right when I brought it to their attention. The waitress was not very knowledgeable yet of the menu, but they just opened and I'm sure she's still learning.
The atmosphere is great. There's an inside and outside patio space. There's a nice large hang out open space out back as well and gives the kiddos a chance to play. We'll definitely be back and glad we have a new fun spot in Aledo.

Wonderful lunch! Appetizer of our choose was chips and salsa. For main entree, I enjoyed the super cheesy, while the husband enjoyed the breakfast burger.
Hand cut fries were awesome. Choice of dessert (to-go) Granny Jakes Mellow cake. Tasted great. Staff was on point, food was on point, and environment was definitely on point. They will certainly go far, especially if the staff stay helping each other out, asking if you need refills etc and it NOT being their table. That was great to witness multiple times. Five Stars ✨

Came in tonight for some dinner & football. Since I was alone, I sat at the bar. Ordered my club soda & a sandwich. The Bartender, Tim, was fantastic!!! Very friendly and Attentive. My sandwich was good however not what I expected. When I ordered a Hot Ham & Cheese, I expected more than a thin slice of ham on a grilled cheese.

This was our first time ever to Jakes. They just opened and there were so many people there but we only had to wait fifteen minutes which wasn’t long. Kelsey was our server she was wonderful and on top of everything, so attentive and nice. My husband got the Jakes special he really enjoyed his burger!, I got the burger with the chicken bacon and it was delicious, it had a kick to it and a tiny bit spicy but I loved it. We got Jakes fries and onion rings they were both hot and fresh but we both thought they were bland like there wasn’t any seasoning on them. The air conditioning was so cold like a morgue which was great because it’s so blistering hot outside. The restaurant was really clean too. I didn’t like how close our table was to everyone else’s I could hear everyone’s conversations and they weren’t loud I just felt like we were so close to them that it was like we were eating with them too which was a bit awkward. I would definitely recommend this place though.

Jake's is a pretty cool place to hang out. There is a great outdoor seating area, Cornhole boards, space for kids to run and play (fenced for safety). We had about a five minute wait on a Saturday around 7p, for a table of five people.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and generally seemed to enjoy themselves.
The food was tasty. I had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and it didn't disappoint!
I definitely recommend giving it a go!

Good food at a fair price, excellent service, and plenty of TVs to watch sports. Try the Spicy Hickory Chicken Quesadilla…it’s definitely NOT spicy, but still very tasty.

Not the Original, has been taken over by Corporate. They have a hostess and waiters that come to your table, its really weird. The burger was fine. Its literally a restaurant with appetizers, a bar, waiters, waitresses, the whole 9.

(Aledo location)We tried Jake’s for the first time after church yesterday. 4/4 happy customers. We got two Classic Doubles, Jake’s Special and a Bacon Bleu. We split a regular fry and seasoned. 10 year old foodie said the Jake’s Special was Amazing! Excellent! Our pickier 13 year old said really good for the Classic Double, I thought the Classic Double was really good as well. Hubby said the Bacon Bleu was really good but he wished the patties were a little thicker. We thought the value was good compared to other restaurants we have been to over the past few months and left full. The seasoned fries were hands down our favorite between our fry selections. We can’t wait to try the queso tater tots per previous reviews. It was busy but not crazy at all and all of us could see the football game from our each side of our booth. Our favorite burger place closed after 2020 so we’re thrilled to have a new one so close by and look forward to enjoying the outdoor area this fall. Pictured The Bacon Bleu.

Took a chance on opening day, and did not disappoint! LOVE the outdoor space! Service was phenomenal, and food was on point. Look forward to returning again, and again.

Jake’s Burgers is here! So impressed with their patio and outdoor space that is perfect for kids to run around. Their gluten free buns are available for all of their burgers and you can tell they use quality beef. Will definitely be back, often. ;)

Jake's is one of those cool places that you can take your group of friends or your kids and have an equally awesome experience. I strongly recommend trying their kicking chicken fried steak. Jake's also has a full bar so anything that you want to drink they're going to have for you. This is one of my favorite places to eat.

I went here to hear a friend play live music. I had an amazing Cobb salad and sweet tea. Both very good! The salad was so filling, it was a struggle to finish it! Plenty of seating in the patio area. Also a large backyard area for the kids. Shelby was a fantastic server. I can tell the servers were doing everything they could to make each and every person's dining experience a pleasant one. They went above and beyond! I will definitely be back!

Visited Jake's in Aledo recently and had a great experience to say the least!! Walked in and was seated immediately. Excellent sports bar with many tvs that played many different sports activities. Environment was incredibly welcoming and friendly. My waiter was prompt and attentive. I much enjoy incredibly spicy foods and there was plenty of that in the menu, along with spicy sauces on the tables. Even the manager Bekah, came to my table to introduce herself, to make sure I was having a great experience. This place is absolutely ran very well all around, I will definitely be back again!!!! Highly recommend FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Out first Visit, Laci was our waitress. We explained It was our first time there and she took her time explaining different items on the menu. We were very satisfied with the food and service. She checked in when needed and didn't linger. Always with a Happy attitude and a Napkin or a refill, take out box, or to take away extra dishes. Just, right on everything! Thanks Laci for making out first time a breeze.

Great atmosphere. Server Tim took exceptional care of us. Professional, our orders came out correctly He was attentive to our needs. We will be back again and hopefully Tim can be our waiter. Awesome personality awesome server Thank you Tim.

Came up here to watch the NCAA Championship Game. Lucky enough to get a high top in the bar area with the view of 3 tvs. 😃 Tim totally took care of us in addition to his bar full of customers. Great service, fun bartender with great energy! Thank you, Tim!

Good food, place was understaffed, which seems to be normal these days. Long line at the door, but lots of tables open. The atmosphere was cool and the outdoor dining and activities are great!

Best burger I have had in years. Very big, loaded, and flavorful. Perfect ballance of beef, veggies, condiments, and bread with just the right mix of seasonings. A++
