Ben and company go out of their way to make sure you have a great time and put you on the fish!! I have booked with him twice and it just keeps getting better. Last trip I brought 8 other people with me and everyone had a blast and caught fish!

Ben is the best took my 85 year old mother fly fishing with him.She had a ball and caught a lot of fish Ben was very understanding and helpful with needs as she had only fly fished one time before. What a great time we had.

My wife and I spent two half days on the White River fishing with Jacob Commer, head guide at Woodard Fly fishing. This was our first time fishing the White and it is a fantastic fishery. We had a great time, caught several nice fish both days and we were really impressed with Jacob's professionalism, ability to provide patient guidance when needed and overall great attitude! The weather was absolutely beautiful in mid- November in the Ozarks. The owner, Ben, worked with us on the arrangements and all our communications about the trip were clear, timely and made for a great trip! Ben is a true professional and super knowledgeable about the waters he guides. As a first time guided angler, I wasn't sure what to expect. Jacob Commer took 3 novice fishers out on a 30-40 degree weekend, taught them the basics, and had them catching fishing within an hour. Two days of fun, laughs and great service. We will be back.

Ben will put you on fish but most importantly , Ben and his wife Jenny will share their love for the outdoors and fly fishing with you. They go out of their way to make sure you know the basics , and follow that up with their deep knowledge base of fly fishing, not only for trout but, for them big smallmouth also! We love the fact we can pick the drift boat or the conventional motor boat also! Ben is very laid back and very patient, you can break off 5 times in a row and he doesn’t make you feel like you suck 😂😂😂. Don’t ask how I know 🤦🏻‍♂

I had the good fortune of 2-days with Jacob Commer on the White River. Jacob blends enthusiasm and energy with keen fish sense and fine attention to detail. We caught fish in tough conditions, including a 24.5-inch Brown dandy.

Awesome guide service! The owner and head guide Ben is a grade A guy and a lot of fun to spend a day on the water with, super personable and knowledgeable, and always knows where to find the fish. I’ve been on multiple trips with him now and every time has been great, I even proposed to my now wife on one of them!

Super day with hard fishing and good results! Was professional and handled instruction and education superbly. Knew the river well and fed us world class apple pie(valued at $120.00). Long story! He is not Dave Wotton’s son🤪🤪🤪😂😂😂. The pie was a gift from Ben as winner in the TU fund raiser
