Was I planning to buy an OG old school Powell Peralta deck today? Nope, but I did! When Sean pulled out a recent delivery that include some Powell reissues including a maroon Ripper he had me (once my wife said ok of course). This shop is awesome. I think he had as much fun as I did replicating a board I'd have bought back in the 1980's when I first started skating. I haven't been on one in 30 years or more but we bought a board for our daughter at Xmas and she wants to learn so why not side by side? Dude, you made my day. I couldn't give you my money fast enough and I bet they'll be a couple more reissue Powell Peralta in my future. And yeah, this old dude plans on riding this deck, I mean I got insurance and all! The smile on his face when I said I'm riding it, not collecting was sweet. Thx for the conversation, awesome service and all of it. You made this 52 year old feel like a kid again.
